@@bryanbonilla7742 You Got It! When I built this trail in the late 1980's it was never meant to be Decent nor a Descent. Everything always started at the Dynamite Shacks! Now look where "things" have ended up? Glad to see folks are getting some self exploration and joy out of being outside. Those "Gravity Sluts" anyway!

Rode there yesterday for the first time and loved it. Someone hit 54 mph there the other day! I crashed around the 1:31 mark in the video but was uninjured.

Hey Kevin, I basically low sided and rolled once and a little sliding maybe 8 feet. Caught it on video too lol. Stupid mistake...started in wrong gear....

This is like slickrock in moab or hangover in sedona. And the one u did this week (free lunch) was like porcupine rim. Similar trails, only less crowded and an hour away

GJ would be a great place to live. So much incredible riding within a 2 hour drive. What do I get for a 2 hour drive in SW MO? Some good riding...but not GJ, Fruita, Moab and and Moab! Add another hour east and all the gravity runs at Copper, Keystone, etc. Job search...ON!
A reasonable location to reside for sure. Almost year round riding.

Not sure about that. I would wager a guess at 20 years? The trails in this area are not old hiking trails and are mountain bike specific, so maybe not as old as you were thinking....

I normally run Sram Roam 50's. They are alu. I break carbon wheels.

Hey Nate, can you share how you created the effect of the line scrolling outwards in both directions on your "The Ribbon" title screen? I'm trying to figure out how to do it with Premiere Pro and can't figure it out, did you use After Effects? Thanks, always enjoy your vids!
This is just a stock title option in iMovie. Looks pretty pro for free software..... Premier is in my future.

You don't need carbon to have fun..... That said, Yeti is starting to make some price point carbon rigs that are near your price range.
Where's your fav place to ride in Colorado
That's a tough question.... So many different trails and styles of terrain. I have really been enjoying the high country, alpine singletrack near my home lately. That is covered in snow currently and will be until at least May this year..... Maybe only being to ride some of these trails for a few months of the year is what makes them special.

He's referring to "Hospital Hill"... it's that steep, rocky, eroded hill just before the last wash areas. I guess it can probably be dropped now as it has a newer straight run-out, it used to be a gnarly S-turn to do it. PS - Love the videos!

what's wrong with your brakes?
After you go 45mph for a bit and slam on the brakes, they never work right again. Rotors and pads done.
