    definitely the Bad Azz Over the top truck. Glad yall are doing Carli set ups now. It is nice to go to a dealer and everything is done correctly, These trucks are finished the way customers want and for those that need to finance its rolled into their payments. Great job guys.

    Sweet build. Always amazes me how many americans (most) dont understand the American Flag and its directional meaning (stars forward symbolize the fact we always march forward regardless of circumstances). Company I work for just had shirts made with the flag backwards on the right arm and had no idea, and said they didn't even know what I was talking about when i explained it haha. Crazy to me.

      With Respect.......I Completely Disagree for the following reasons and reference the following design and engineering flaws on Chevrolet and GMC 4WD Heavy Duty trucks:
      1. IFS - Poor Articulation and Wheel Travel on uneven terrain off-road. Solid Front Axle is stronger, more reliable and durable...and less maintenance.
      2. Low Hanging Frame Rails - Poor Breakover Angle. Have seen Chevrolet and GMC 2500 CC 4WD trucks stuck on rounded knolls off-road in Rocky Mountain states. In addition, the 2017 - 2019 GM 6.6L diesel 4WD trucks had large DEF tanks hanging down very low....seen those completely destroyed off-road.
      3. Angle - Rectangle - Square shaped Wheel Well openings.........very stupid design for a round tire mounted on a round rim. If larger tires are desired, requires more lift for tire clearance compared to Ford and Dodge 4WD trucks with rounded wheel wells. The higher lift required on GM 4WD trucks to provide adequate clearance for larger tires negatively impacts the "center of gravity".

    • @drofdoctors7887
      @drofdoctors7887 Před rokem

      @@15Jeep square shaped wheel well is old design, we talkin 5 yrs. ago, hell you wanna talk about history of trucks... dodge damn near went out of business in 1980 & ford starting in 80 had a stupid lookin design along with changing the transfer case to chain drive, which stretched & slipped... yeah, don't wanna hear that, do we??

    • @15Jeep
      @15Jeep Před rokem

      @@drofdoctors7887 I like certain and various vehicles (cars, SUVs, trucks) that have been built by all 3 U. S. manufacturers. I am not particularly biased towards one manufacturer over the other, with a few exceptions. Actually, I currently own one vehicle from each of the big three - 1978 Chevrolet K-20 4WD 350 V8, SM 465, NP205 and 4.10 gears; 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock; 2022 Ford F350 Lariat 7.3L CC 4WD UP - BAP - Tremor with Warn winch.....all purchased new. Two of my favorite old muscle cars are - 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake with 427 V8 - GT40 MK II and the 1969 Chevrolet COPO Camero 427 V8 (both the ZL1 and L72).
      Hear (read) what? Dodge almost going out of business? The stupid looking design of 1980 - 1986 Ford trucks and Bronco...and chain driven transfer case? GM had the NP207 chain driven transfer case starting in 1981 behind the 700R4 automatic transmission.
      In 2008, GM was $30.9 Billion in debt and was on the verge of filing bankruptcy and was bailed out. Chrysler Corporation received some tax dollar bailout money too.
      The big mistake Chrysler Corporation made was changing the name of their truck product line from Dodge to Ram (Sheep...really?). The company messed up the heritage and legacy of Dodge.....the Power Wagon, etc.
      The 1980 Ford trucks and Bronco were built with what I call the "swiss-cheese" frame. Therefore, not many 1980 model year Ford trucks around...the frame was total junk, so most all of those trucks are in the salvage yards. The 1987 - 1991 Ford trucks had very poor aesthetics.
      It is quite unfortunate the gear driven NP205 transfer cases were not used for 50+ years. From 1974 to 1979, both Chevrolet and GMC started putting the piece of junk NP203 transfer case behind TH350, TH400 automatic transmissions. The only way to get the NP205 transfer case was to order the SM 465 manual transmission. On the other hand, Ford built almost all trucks with the NP205 behind the C6 automatic and the NP435 manual.....very few Fords built with the junk NP203 transfer case. For a few reasons, if I had it to do over, I would not have ordered the 1978 Chevrolet K-20 4WD truck. Instead, I would have ordered a 1978 Ford F150 4WD truck with 351 V8, NP435, NP205 and 4.11:1 gear ratio in the differentials (pumpkins).
      Starting with the "Square Body", GM engineers simply do not know how to build a good heavy duty 2500 / 3500 4WD truck. It got much worse with the IFS starting in 1988 on 1500 and 2500 trucks and finishing with the K5 and 3500 in 1992. Yeah, Chevrolet made the wheel wells more round in 2019, but GMC engineers maintained their stupidity with changing from the rectangle / square wheel well opening to an opening with 45 degree angles.....still a very bad design for a round tire mounted on a round rim......exacerbated if the owner wants to install larger tires which will require noticeably more lift for clearance and negatively affecting the "center of gravity". Lot easier to get large tires under a Ford or Dodge 4WD truck with minimal lift.
      I have seen the results of the stupid design and engineering mistakes made on GM 4WD trucks......in action off-road on uneven terrain, especially in mud and snow out in the Rocky Mountain states. I have seen Chevrolet and GMC 4WD trucks with the low hanging frame rails stuck like a "teeter totter" on little rounded hump knolls. It is quite the sight to see. I have seen 2017 - 2019 GM 4WD trucks with destroyed DEF tanks. In 2020 the DEF tanks were redesigned and relocated. It is a scary thought... the GM engineers did not have enough common sense to foresee the problems with having a very low hanging DEF tank mounted on the frame under the front passenger seat / side of the truck. Chevrolet and GMC 4WD trucks are only good for driving on paved dry and or snow packed roads.......and do not have the off-road capability, especially in mud and snow of a Ford or Dodge 4WD truck.
      TWO Final Points:
      1. The Carli E-Venture suspension of the Ford F250 in this video is awesome! The Ford will ride way better both on and off-road compared to a Chevrolet or GMC. Carli will soon be introducing the E-Venture for Dodge trucks. Carli does not do suspensions for Class 2 and Class 3 trucks, so nothing available for GM 4WD trucks.
      2. The ONLY Chevrolet or GMC 4WD truck I would consider buying can be found here ----------------------->
      rtechfabrications.com/
      These GM 4WD trucks are very cool with numerous modern options.... and very capable off-road.
