For me the most annoying thing is when you're going flatout through a quick section and co-driver says "keep middle through the big jump" without even a "caution" or anything, so you go full throttle and when you're mid air co-driver adds "and then immediate turn square left". So you end up hanging on the top of the tree. In a different country.

I remember in Colin McRae Rally 3 on the OG Xbox, co-driver decided the best time to tell me there was a tight turn, was while I was in mid-air after a jump and didn't have enough time to slow down for it.
There are a few areas in New Zealand where the notes don't quite cut it. That said for the entire game there are only maybe 10-15 dud calls which is pretty good really
I had this problem a lot with Dirt 4 where the pace notes must be generated with the stages, but in Dirt 2.0, I don't understand. Of course, realistic errors are fine in a simulation but there are so many calls that are clearly bad.
While this wasn''t directly the co-drivers fault, the amount of commenters who didn't pay attention to the video and confirm the co-driver has bad calls on a lot of stages very much speaks for itself. There's nothing like being told you have a 'flat right extra long' only to be mostly through it and suddenly hear a panicked 'into immediate square left'. The timing on calls and spacing of reads is REALLY inconsistent in this game and often causes massive issues if you are really trying to push it on a stage. Which is why some of the fastest drivers (according to leaderboards) are the ones who are driving without the co-driver on, and instead memorizing the stage. They can actually push the limit without having to worry about a 1 being called a 3 or a 6 being called a 4, nor being told 'slow' on a section where it is perfectly fine to have the pedal through the floor, to say nothing of a misleading 'keep x over jump' that doesn't indicate how far you should be x over jump.
Okay, so, 0:11 seconds in, you are currently at the "Don't cut 6 right". At 0:12 is when you cut into the outside of the right turn, sending you flying.
