Caitlyn Clark is an unprecedented female basketball talent. I’ve never seen another female basketball player do the things she’s done so far. What other woman basketball player can throw up logo threes while being a good driver to the basket and pass the ball the way she does. I’ve never seen this combination in a woman basketball player. I mean, she’s drawing comparisons to Steph Curry because there has never been another woman to do what she’s doing. Plus, she has managed to get a lot of men, for the first time, to pay attention to and respect women’s basketball because of her exciting play. Look, I’m all about my black people (especially FBA) but as a sports fan, I can’t deny the girl is dope to watch play. Many black female players who are even better then Clark are/have being overlooked for years in a financial way, possibly due to their skin color. Don't pretend like you don't know that the America we live in do things like this all the time.

The WNBA needs to be thankful that Caitlan is bringing attention to women's basketball -- especially when one considers just how unexciting it is compared to the NBA. Let's face it, basketball is a man's sport and the level of athleticism and style (a major factor that makes it way more watchable) displayed by NBA players just can't be matched by women when it comes to basketball.

If you ask why people don't watch the WNBA they'll give you numerous reasons but most will say it's boring and it's not exciting. Clark is watchable! People tuned in to watch her play. That's viewership. Viewership is money. It translates to television contracts and that's advertising dollars. That means the league has money if they have money they can pay the ladies more. They should be glad to see someone like her coming to the league. But instead they're jealous of her popularity and thinks she doesn't deserve the attention. She deserves it. Sports is about popularity and marketability not who you think is the best based on opinion. Is the current WNBA MVP packing seats? Nope. Did the WNBA finals get more viewers than any of Clarks appearances in the tournament? Nope. Their jealousy for her will destroy them.

This is why people don't watch unfortunately. The fact people are complaining about someone getting a deal almost kinda kills their chance at ever having a deal. It looks horrible in the public eye and to kids and is a horrible example to be setting. At the end of the day a company takes a big risk any time any player gets a deal. Not everything is a guaranteed money maker you have to have people interested enough to buy the product to begin with then you need the right person to market the product that is well liked and doesn't have their own personal drama going on.
