Floyd has always said he gave him good work, but sometimes he will drop the coded language and say that he just wasn't "Floyd mayweather" yet. In another interview he says that he eventually figured out Errol. I'm just not buying his perspective on it. It comes across to me that when Floyd says he pushed him or he gave him good prep work what he really is doing is acknowledging he got he ass kicked, but wasn't yet prepared to spar a fighter of Spence's caliber. It's funny listening to Errol talk about it nowadays. Now that Errol is top dog, and has much more self confidence, he flat out says that he was definitely touching him.

Well there is video of Paul Spadafora giving Floyd trouble in sparring, and nobody in their right mind would say at any point he would've had a chance with Floyd in the ring. Sparring is different than fighting, and Errol of course was looking to make a point and try to hurt Floyd. For Floyd it is simply sparring, and working on conditioning and the like. At his best Errol isn't beating Floyd on a regular night in a real boxing match. Anyone who actually analyzes fights and fighters would know this. It would be an easy night for Floyd, and Errol would look basic and amateurish in comparison. There are levels to this, and Errol is levels below Floyd. And I'm an Errol fan. Floyd is levels above anyone out there now even Terrance, Loma, Inouye, and anyone else folks could name. He has multiple ways he can beat a fighter, and most have one or 2.

I know a boxing coach who knows a man who was there for the sparring allegedly and what I was told was he caught Floyd with a straight left to the eye which is a fact look at his during the Robert Guerrero fight or his post interviews before that fight but then I was told after that Spence was digging hooks to mayweathers body and Floyd’s team stopped it.then he kicked Spence out of camp brought him back and fought him again who did what In the 2nd battle idk but this is all what I’ve heard nothing I’ve seen

At his best Errol isn't beating Floyd on a regular night in a real boxing match. Anyone who actually analyzes fights and fighters would know this. It would be an easy night for Floyd, and Errol would look basic and amateurish in comparison. There are levels to this, and Errol is levels below Floyd. And I'm an Errol fan. Floyd is levels above anyone out there now even Terrance, Loma, Inouye, and anyone else folks could name. He has multiple ways he can beat a fighter, and most have one or 2.
That is what most people don't understand. Floyd is the only fighter in the whole world who can adjust in the ring drastically. He mastered the art of boxing. He will always be remembered. I love Errol just the way I love Floyd. Let's see if Errol makes 50-0-0. I will then equate them :) :) Love ya homies

I wasn’t there so this is just from the outside looking in and from what interviews I’ve seen about it somebody who’s been around Floyd since top rank days says out of everybody he’s seen Floyd spar he said he thinks Errol did the best. He said they went back and forth and they had to just end it at some point bc it was really competitive. Leonard ellerbe also said it wasn’t sparring he said it was a legit fight and they went toe to toe. Floyd had just got home from jail I’m pretty sure and errol wasn’t even a contender at the time so credit to errol and credit to Floyd.

I know a boxing coach who knows a man who was there for the sparring allegedly and what I was told was he caught Floyd with a straight left to the eye which is a fact look at his during the Robert Guerrero fight or his post interviews before that fight but then I was told after that Spence was digging hooks to mayweathers body and Floyd’s team stopped it.then he kicked Spence out of camp brought him back and fought him again who did what In the 2nd battle idk but this is all what I’ve heard nothing I’ve seen

My boy was there for the first sparring. They were both going at it but spence was a little sharper. Floyd called him back in very next day early. Floyd was sharper and outboxed and outworked him in second sparring. Even started catching him clean with few pot shots. Floyd adapted day 2.

The value of each product and its return value is often weighed from a business point of view and perhaps that is why *if* he is indeed pushing Spence, than it may be for those $$ reasons alone. And if so, then perhaps your question is very valid re; why not let him do it the old school way and fight the top 3 always. Tear through and eat up the divisions like Floyd did.
