I don't think I was concerned about what everyone else was doing or how they're moving. I've always stayed in my own lane - that's why I rarely put out content of me turning up, in the club, etc etc b/c there was none 😭😂 but I did always feel like that's what the people wanted to see based on numbers/engagement. However, I'm fully embracing my slow-moving & homebody lifestyle lol and catering to the ppl that's on the same wave. I will be 35 Sunday, definitely been teary eyes the last few weeks based on life. It’s growing pains, some satisfaction and some prayers asking God did I miss anything/am I doing things right. The realist thing you said was realizing people don’t rock with you the way you thought, these last few weeks have shown that people will love you in the midst of something that will lead to their gain. Dating has been a rollercoaster as well (especially since men lead with sec too much) and trying to make some adjustment in hopes that I will meet my God ordained husband this year ❤
I completely understand babe. Facing the challenges of getting older and not achieving all the goals you set by a certain age can indeed be discouraging. As you wisely mentioned, lean on God during these times for guidance in the next chapters of your life. Trust that everything and everyone will fall into place at the right time.
