Thanks for the video, I just installed on my car after some serious curb rash. You can't even tell afterwards. I would recommend either having a buddy help or taking the wheel off the car. I had some trouble keeping the protectors straight on the bottom side of the rim as I worked my way around. It would be easier working horizontally instead of vertically and worth the extra time and effort to keep the application perfect and consistent. I am a freak about perfection.

They look nice on your wheel and give your car that extra pop BUT they tear of if your curb your wheel, in other words they do not work as they are a thin strip of rubber, I know because I had them installed on my wheels three times
If you want to really protect your wheel from accidental curb damage invest in Alloygators, they are made from hard nylon plastic that do not strap off if you scratch your wheel they are alot more expensive, but you get what you pay for, I hope this comment directs someone in the right direction if they are looking for a wheel protection that actually works

Pull of the top layer of plastic leaving the tape on the alloy, if you look on the internet you can buy 3m tape remover spray it turns it into a jelly that just wipes off leaving no damage.

Why would you touch the rim edge after applying alcohol? Your fingers are oily hence it will add grease which you just tried to remove hahahah

this stuff doesnt last long enough to be worth it. You'd be lucky to get a few months out of it. And notice Turtle Wax doesnt even sell there version of this anymore. That should tell you everything.
