Well, when you ended up in the pudding you actually had to reduce thrust. The jet would sink slowly and you get back manoeuvre capabilities. Then tip the nose until you reach negative angle and you're good to go. Takes a couple seconds and it's very annoying. But it was never necessary to suicide. The way altitude limit works is still ridiculous though :D Gosh, still loved flying in BF3 & BF4

@@michaela769 most people can't get good settings to fly with. I think it took me like 60 hours to get the ucav unlocked it's just not fun unless u have a flight stick or something
@@SMOK3SCR3EN I never got it and I played the game for a long time the active missles made it a nightmare aswell fun to use but super deadly I played on pc and the amount of mouse pad you need when your getting chased and your tryna turn is insane😂

A good pilot could literally dominate a BF3 server lol.
Fun fact about the jelly in BF3:
If you were playing the Back to Karkand maps that had jets and were flying the shitty F35 for the US side (much, much worse than the Su-35BM), you could use the jelly to your advantage. The F35 couldn't get stuck in it like the other jets. Instead you could activate hover mode or go into it automatically if you were going slow enough on console, and you would just fall out of the jelly. If an Su-35BM chased you into it you could activate hover mode and simply fall out of it and come back and kill them easily while they get stuck. It was the only advantage the F35 had over the Flanker and was especially easy to do on Gulf of Oman because the flight ceiling before you hit the jelly was incredibly low compared to every other map.
I can't find any information on it and I was more of a BC2 and BF4 player and sadly missed the true BF3 moments, but what is this Jelly people talk about? I noticed the medic had it happen to him but I was a little confused
@@johnsamos3721 never heard anyone refer to it as “jelly” but in BF3 if you hit the flight ceiling with a jet the forward thrust would constantly push you up and the ceiling would push down so you would just float there kinda like getting stuck in jelly

I love the fact that if the Engineer banked Left, and Noob banked Right, then they would crash into each-other.
The first 2042 episode should be Medics/Squad standing next to you and not reviving

You can’t eject the air superiority gamemode the canopy is welded shut
Air superiority servers died because those who knew how to properly fly the jet were few and one good dogfighter could shoot down the entire enemy team in just few turns. I remember depopulating a server with two of my friends in just 10 minutes before everyone quit. Never joined any of those servers after that, boring for me annoying for them.

Skybox was the biggest BS sometimes. Sometimes it would be 800m,1000m,1200m. You'd be tailing a guy and he does a maneuver, you follow and get blasted back 50 feet.
it was super low on Gulf of Oman but that played into the advantage of the F35 because it couldn't get stuck in it the same way the other planes could. Hover mode would make it fall right out of it and if they chased you into it, it gave you a free kill. About the only way to actually get a kill on a Russian jet as the F35 since it was so much worse.

One of my least favorite matches are the ones with a good pilot on the other team. Its slaughter, and I refuse to git gud at it. I try to get those tank vs plane kills instead.
