I guess Nova Scotia turned this idea into their new tourism commercial! 🎉
Haha! They very well might have 🤪
I was born in PEI and my family for generations are from Nova Scotia…you did an exceptional job and the best ever presentation of Nova Scotia! I am going to share it with everyone I know!! Heartfelt thanks!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the support. Thank you 🙂
Arriving there Tuesday for 16 days! My dream trip and I finally get it for my 75th birthday. Cape Breton is where I want to spent more time but my goal as a watercolorist is to paint as many lighthouses as possible.
Oil paint is better for painting lighthouses, as it is more weather resistant.
Magestic! You’ve clearly invested hundreds of hours of your own time, thousands of dollars, and a bucketload of creativity into this. Just to bring this amazing province to the world. Kudos. And I hope you are repayed for your efforts many fold! A Unique and amazing part of the world.
Wow, thank you for your kind words 👏🏻 definitely a lot of efforts went into this video!
just as beautiful underwater
One of the most beautiful coastlines!!! Rugged, cliffs, long stretches of beaches! Clean, Lear water, pristine nature at its finest!!!
Nova Scotia is so underrated
Best video footage about Nova Scotia beaches and shores. I feel blessed living in Halifax and having my summer weekends driving to many beautiful beaches. Keep up good work with your excellent videos.
Thank you so much!
The crown jewel of the maritimes... New Scotland.
Just watching your video and Nova Scotia is absolutely breathtaking!
My Great Grandmother was a herring packer in Pictou. Her father’s family came their from The Isle of Col Scotland in 1814 on the ship Economy. I liked that the best, but I’m partial. I have been to Nova Scotia a couple times and it’s amazing land.
I am coming out to see this gem 💎 this fall!!! September!!!
Thanks! This was great. planning a July. Camping reservations done and this helped finding the fun!
Glad it was helpful! Enjoy your trip!
Nice Scotia edit Jake! Cape Breton is the winner!
Absolutely stunning views from above…views that are not possible when walking the trails and coastlines or driving the scenic routes. Thank you for creating and sharing these marvellous videos. There is so much more visual content waiting for you in Nova Scotia. How about the highlighting some fishing villages, their harbours ,fishing gear, and boats?
Thanks Lynne for the feedback! That sounds like it could make for an interesting video. Thanks for suggesting it 👍🏻🙂
Exceptional video ❤
Thank you so much! 🙏🏻
Great video. I bought a place here in 2005. The beaches are great and the people are even better. Glad you didn't go any further east.
Thank you very much for what I've just seen!
I know how beautiful NS is.
Thanks for sharing
I like at 8:13 dude is hitting a doober, Atleast that’s how it appears. What a beautiful landscape. Hell, if I lived in a place that looked like this I’d be hitting the doober daily
Haha that’s funny! Had to go back and watch it now that you mentioned it 🤪
Really nice summary and advice of places to see!
fabulous
Loved this! SO underrated
Great concise footage ! Going there in a couple of weeks .Can’t wait.🇨🇦❤️
Excellent video! I love everything about NS.
Amazing footage ! The best I have seen by far. Thanks ! We are definitely haeding to Nova Scotia and yes, Cape Breton !! Thank-you for sharing !
Excellent video! Exactly the details you need before planning a trip!!
Awesome video! We are planning on taking an RV road trip from Florida to Montreal, Quebec, and Nova Scotia next June (2023). This will be the furthest north we have been and we are extremely excited about it. I am glad I came across your video!
Thank you for the great video! We are planning a trip to NS and NB next year and your video give a great visual of the different areas. And love how you were clear on the different areas.

Thanks buddy! I appreciate it 👏🏻
I did like it, and heading to NS tomorrow :) Liked the laid-back narration, too. Thanks Jake
What an awesome video, good job, I grew up in the Burncoat area.
Surreal
That is so magical
I recently found out about the worlds highest tide is on the bay of fundy and then I found your channel! 🍁🍁🍁
great job with so much information! planning a road trip to Nova Scotia, Thanks for sharing the video!
My pleasure! Enjoy your road trip 🙌🏻
On that "pristine wilderness" every single tree of any size was cut in NS before 1850. Those ships we built did were not made of Lego you know. It has since recovered a lot in many areas, but the old growth forests are long gone.
Thank you for a Great video!! We’ll be exploring all these regions next summer. New subbie from Alberta.
Hey Jake! We are moving to Halifax in May and your videos have been so helpful to watch. Your videos have also made us SO excited to go and explore 😍 our fav spots seem to be in Cape Breton & the East Shore!!
Glad to hear that. Cape Breton is a must for sure! I lived In the Eastern shore for a bit and it’s a real underdog! Everywhere is great to explore
Fantastic video, planning a trip to Nova Scotia and this helps a lot!
Glad to hear that! Enjoy your trip 👍🏻
Nice Drone photography, 👍
Wow, really enjoyed this video. I feel blessed to live near Cape Forchu! Thanks for sharing this amazing footage.
Thanks for enjoying! 🙂
Wow, this video is fantastic. Best I’ve watched. We are driving our campervan from Florida and spending 2 months in your breathtaking Province. So excited!! Thanks
That’s awesome! That will sure be a fun trip 🙂
I did a 6-week Fall Foliage vanlife tour of Nova Scotia & Newfoundland in 2022. Holy crap Batman!!! I was blown away by the beauty of the region. I flew my drone over several areas. I was looking for ocean, beach, and high cliffs. One of my favorites was Mavallette in the Yarmouth area. Great video post!!
Beautiful and well done video!
Thank you! I appreciate the support.
I have to honestly say as a Canadian…..This is one of the most beautifully made videos I have ever seen….the views and colours are truly breathtaking. I do hope you will consider doing other Canadian areas. We have so many beautiful places and I keep seeing videos that just do not do them justice. Some are very dull colour wise or they pick the least attractive areas. I’ve even seen not so old videos that looked like they were filmed in the fifties with a dirty lens. Your video made me feel as though I was there!
Fabulous video. I was born in Cheticamp, Cape Breton and I now live in Ecuador. I'll be in HRM in October.
good work keep it up.
I was born in N.S. and lived there most of my life, and now live in the Philippines with my wife. Great job and thank you
Great footage! We're on our way.
Loved the video of awesome beaches in Nova Scotia! 😅 Now I'm going to fly it in MFS2020 IN A JELICOPTER!❤
gorgeous place.. i am from there born and raised , i sadly moved away years ago i have wife and kids in alberta, but im proud, one of the most proud ppl to proud of where i come from !million%
Nice vid!
Awesome!! 👍👍 great upload. Ciao from italy🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
Ciao 😁 absolutely love Italy!
Great video!
Thank you!
great video!!!
Thanks! 🙂
It's definitely the Sterling Coast!!!
I consider Port Hood my favourite beach but I never checked out Dingwall--it's on my todo list.
Cảm ơn Anh đã chia sẻ thực tế yêu quá thanks
Inspiring...I'm about to buy a DJI Mini 3 and your videos make me anxious to get it aloft. ps, I'm a bluenoser, too
Nova Scotia's coastline I'm reasonably familiar with. Lived there for 30 years and saw lots of coastline. It's actually the interior of the province that I haven't explored.
The length of its coastline is remarkable when you consider that the whole province is only a few hundred km long. Still lots more coastline for me to see somewhat.
Spruce trees, thick brush. That's your "interior".
Wow, this is great, I knew Nova Scotia was cool :) I think the very first frame has a typo "133000" km of Nova Scotia Coastline
Oh my gosh you’re right! I can’t believe I didn’t even notice myself.😂 LOL thanks for pointing that out
Seems like you could have gone further east? Great video
Nova Scotia Coastlines: Only beautiful if you’re lacking life experience. FYI, I lived right on the sea in Shelburne county for several years, and visited all these beaches. They all share one feature: they’re dull, but not half as dull as the inhabitants.
One of Crystal Crescent's three beaches is clothing OPTIONAL ! Who would have expected a nude beach in staid, ol' Nova Scotia? JMH
sable island?
🇨🇦🕊♥️
Great footage.
The first frame says 13,3000 km.
One zero too many.
Remind me again why I've not moved to Nova Scotia?
Hmmm, that’s a great question!
i am gonna be there in September staying at Glenora for 3 days, then we rented a house for a week on the south shore. We want to drive the cabot trail. Should we drive clockwise or counter clockwise. Your feedback would be much appreciated.
Point Michaud? Really missed a big one bud.
I know I have! It’s been on my list now for awhile…
Well stop telling folks this! We like it the way it is…not too crowded.
surf it
The water is freezing ypu cant swim in it but yea
Truly love your beautiful video……just wanted to point out there are no such people as “ Scotch “ . There is “ Scotch tape “ and “ Scotch whiskey “. The people of Scotland are “ Scottish “ or Scots men and Scots women.
You nailed it kid but keep that secret cause we dont want tourism to spread and ruin our fantastic province (a french resident owning house in NS)
Honestly I don't know why people who live in Nova Scotia would spend thousands of dollars and fly down south for a vacation on a beach. Just to have warmer water? or are they completely oblivious to how beautiful our beaches are. smh
You got a point there! I think that all the time
Try being here in the winter.. lol people don’t go down south from here in the summer just when we have 3 feet of snow and ice.
What a dumb comment
I live in a small fishing village in Nova Scotia ...Wouldn't live anywhere else ..
