If I'm going to spend $50,0000+ I want an engine with legendary Toyota reliability but with more horsepower, torque, and fuel economy; a transmission with at least 8 speeds; and modern technology options (10-way seats, adaptive cruise, active lane keep assist, collision avoidance/auto braking, blind spot warning, and a great infotainment system with Apple Carplay/Android Auto).
How was it possible to design, engineer and approve for production a Corolla Cross Hybrid that gets fewer mpg than the larger, more powerful and more versatile RAV4 Hybrid? When is the 55+ mpg Yaris Cross coming to this market?
They should have just brought over the Corolla Hatchback Hybrid from Europe. Have the hybrid available in the sedan and the hatchback not just the sedan...

Here to see what they changed with the Corolla sedan and hatch. Kind of torn about how they changed the triple J lights to the one in the GR Corolla, but the inclusion of Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 and their new infotainment OS as standard is sure a welcome one.
After the GR corolla end this generation, Massive amount of people are asking for Yaris GR in Canada and USA. I think the demands is strong for this model too, it should be definitely brought here. I think it will sell quickly and be part of the American toyota heritage. Make it happen.
They could’ve done better with the Corolla Cross Hybrid XSE. That plastic cladding looks cheap. Gloss black cladding like the RAV4 Hybrid XSE would’ve look so much better including the wheels too. They look like they belong to the cheaper LE trim. The hybrid powertrain on the other hand is a very welcome addition to the engine line-up.

That's how toyota does all their hybrid awd unfortunately. Its not bad, and you probably wont notice the difference in real world conditions. I have the rx450h and the rear electric motors kick on when traction is slipping in the front. It had gotten me through fresh snow up in the mountains where it was was pretty deep in some places too.
We've all been very, very patient with the 4Runner... and all it gets for 2023 is somw pinstripes and a badge job...? And btw.. my 2014 was sold as a "30th anniversary edition" so how the hell did 2023 magically become the 40th anniversary model?

You are loosing a lot of customers in Australia. There is so much corruption here just because delay in delivery of vehicles. Common who takes 18 months waiting periods. I personally wanted to buy Corolla cross and my 8 friends . And dealers in Australia told that 18 months it will take and price may increase to 8k on top of original price. This hike is not official . That is dealership corruption. What he said who ever ready to pay that 8k extra once vehicle is ready then that person will get. Regardless of whoever orders the vehicle. What is that. Please focus on Australia as well. Australia has a lot of Toyota valuable fans here
When is toyota going to stick to their roots and build their owns sports cars with no collaborations. It would be nice to see RWD corolla again, built in house with your own manufacturing and engineering. I think you need to build a sports car plant like Acura and honda, and build your own cars from scratch. 20 years you should have spend time in Research and development to build your own performance cars. Dont give your heritage model cars to other brands.
Who cares about the hate of the Supra if it has BMW engineering. I am just glad it'll feature a manual transmission now. The GR line is looking good!

Maybe because the wheel base is shorter so the height of the car is higher, causing resistance.
