    Ayo, At times i do reviews on videos per request related to Vietnam when it comes to teaching, investing, and the legal blah blah. I saw you recently did videos in Hanoi. I think i'd be a cool run if i did the review directly with you. GOod back and forth content. Are you still in Hanoi to do this or was that last video in Saigon you living there not visiting?

    Great comprehensive video 👍 You said teachers can either teach in public schools, private schools, English centers , or online…are international schools lump into the private school category? Also, is there a pay discrepancy between foreigners teaching vs native speakers teaching? I’m being tutored online by a native speaker in Vietnam and I did hear her mentioning she doesn’t get paid well at the English centers…that is why she picking up a side job to teach online also

    • @thestoryofkt
      @thestoryofkt  Před 4 měsíci

      Yeah so private and international schools are the same thing here. I just call them private. Big discrepancies between Vietnamese and foreigners pay. At times 10x- 50x more than locals make. The quality of life here for foreigners is 20x-30x better

    • @thestoryofkt
      @thestoryofkt  Před 4 měsíci

      Yeah locals need multiple jobs to make little money here. It's not right but it's changing as the economy and younger generation wants more in life than their parents have

    Is there an age cut-off for English teachers?

    • @thestoryofkt
      @thestoryofkt  Před 4 měsíci +2

      Not really. I could guess 70 is too old. But I've even seen that here and worked with them.

    I work with kids in an affluent suburb in New Jersey. These kids can be so disrespectful at times. They do not listen (not all of them but too many that it causes disruptions). How do the kids behave in Vietnam?

    • @thestoryofkt
      @thestoryofkt  Před 4 měsíci

      So if you're a teacher already in the US and have the master or proper documents, you can get one of the best jobs here: international schools aka private schools and be ballin out of control here. Don't put up with that disrespectful behavior. The kids here are very kind, of course you have not so friendly kids but the kids will love you if you're a good teacher and actually teach them.

      Yes you can play at local places here, you just need to get in with the right crowd. I can make an introduction if you decide to come to Vietnam. No worries, brotha
