I remember watching this vividly late on a Saturday night on ITV after 9pm in the early 90's (which must have been a repeat) as a kid? Never forgot it.
I was in tears when I first watched this. Beautifully acted. I had to give up watching London’s Burning as a kid. I couldn’t handle the deaths! The original 80s snowflake 🤣
It was hard at times on certain shouts. But you back to the station check the equipment and focus on the next shout. That's how you get through the job in the fire service
My dad hadn't watched it in years but this scene always stook in his mind because of what the women said. The are showing edited versions of the show in the daytime in DRAMA. This scene was heavily cut.

It takes 7 years or about that to qualify as a doctor and 5 minutes for the receptionist to think she is one too
And receptionists seem to think you have to pass THEIR judgement first when you want a doctor.
