23 out of 25 and feeling very old now. Thanks.
24 out of 25. Missed The Champions. Thanks for another great quiz.
I recognised and could name all the ones I had watched, but you dug up some rare ones I’d never heard of.
I'm American, grew up in the 60s and I knew all the American shows, plus the Avengers and Thunderbirds, the only British shows I recall being shown in the US.
Although I recognised The Green Hornet, I didn't think it ever made it on to British television unlike all the others.
I think the character guested in a couple of episodes of Batman, that's where I recognised him from.
Bruce Lee was Cato.
Got them all. Loved telly when I was a kid. I'm 66 now and haven't watched it for a few years now. Nothing worth watching these days.
That was the only one I didn't get.
Got them all except The Green Hornet. Was that even shown on British TV? I can't remember it at all and my memories of 1960s TV is very good. I realise how old I am when I can not only name those characters in the Coronation Street picture, but the actors and actresses who played them!
Though it helps that one of them is still in it!
Brilliant, I was doing well for most of it, but after the Green Hornet which I've never heard of, it was hit and miss. Loved the music which is so relevant to the time.
I wasn't born til 73 so was quite amazed I got most of them right 😂
First time I got 25/25 on one of your quizs I can go to bed happy. I never saw the Green Hornet but its iconic enough to recognise.
Fantastic!
24/25, never heard of the Green Hornet! Real walk down memory lane with two women included who I had my first crushes on, Emma Peel and Alexanda Bastido.
The music really does define that late Sixties ambience. On the note of ambience, I always liked the way the kit was miked and recorded. Not too close. Lots of "room" sound.
25/25 This was a time when I was "confined to barracks" thru injury, and watch a lot of TV !
Full house! Top stuff!
23/25. I didn't get Dr Kildare or The Likely Lads; all I could think of was "Whatever happened to the Likely Lads?" and I knew that wasn't quite right.
Smashing! What a run of nostalgia. Really good shows.
Only one I missed was High Chaparral. Mixed it up with The Virginian! Always have, since I was a kid! ;-P
Yes! Get in! Full marks! Nice one best wishes and take care
Nice one Jimmy!
Got them all except the green hornet. Never heard of it.
The only one to throw me. I called the munsters Addams family. Damn!
Dr Kildare stumped me 24 out of 25
60s TV 📺 Series Quiz: 19/25🤔 Not a bad score considering I was born in 1966!! I mixed up the Munsters with the Addams Family!! I had never heard of “The Green Hornet”?! Interesting Quiz😃
A clean sweep for me! 25/25.
Awesome!
So much pleasure in those series. Wonderful photos!
They don't make 'em like that anymore for sure.
StuView TV - yep, the 60s and 70s were the best TV years. I have all the AVENGERS DVDs from 1965 with Diana Rigg to the last ones with Linda Thorson, The PRISONER, and all the MISSION IMPOSSIBLE series, which I think may be the best TV series ever.
I said Softly Softly instead of Z-Cars and didn't get Coronation Street. Never seen the Green Hornet.
I nearly said Softly Softly, but I recognised Bert Lynch in the background, so guessed it was Z Cars.
Wow. What brilliant television. Fantastic. Got them all right...🇬🇧👍
missed Green Hornet as it wasn't shown on UK TV and said Softly Softly for Z-cars (I`d have got that if the picture had of been James Ellis lol)
21. I didn't get Green Hornet either, and I got Z cars mixed up with Softly Softly
Great 👍
I only know most of these from the repeats in the 70's, 80's and 90's. I very nearly got Dixon Of Dock Green mixed up with Z Cars, but corrected myself in time! The Green Hornet stumped me. I never saw it.
Only the Green Hornet eluded me. Not a series I ever saw
22/ The champions started my decline in scoring!
After mistaking The Munsters for The Addams Family it started going down hill!
24/25 - I only slipped up on #22. Another excellent quiz, Stu. Thankyou :)
Great score!
21, which isn't bad considering I wasn't even born then!
good job you picked the village one don't want to say the show instead of danger man which he was in before this show.
i never seen the music one ever. and only seen green hornet on rerun as I don't think it was on uk tv.
i love reruns or just buying the series on dvd you get to see all the better made tv series.
25/25
I didn't get Z cars thought it was Softly Softly or Juke Box Jury thought that was Hit or Miss the one I loved that was missing was Daktari always seems to get missed that one. Thanks for that blast from the past great shows, what ever happened to the first one!🤔
GOT ALL EXCEPT DR KILDARE
25/25 🇬🇧 must be older than I thought 😂
Brilliant score!
The Green Hornet??? Never heard of it. Other than that I thought Dr. Kildare was Emergency Ward 10, and stupidly couldn't bring Mission Impossible to mind in the time allowed. 22/25. Happy with that😁
The Green Hornet starred Bruce Lee as the Green Hornet's sidekick. You might have heard of him.
19. Never heard of 2 of them.
Great quiz, nostalgia is not what it was.
Thanks James. You're right about nostalgia too!
25! I even got Green Hornet which was never shown in Britain !
I think it was on in the early 80s on a Saturday morning on ITV
24/25 missed “The Green Hornet”
25 out of 25. 1ST time ev
ever
Top stuff!
Okay I think we’ve got to my level .
This is the first one I’ve got them alright but I’ll be honest I don’t remember the green hornet from the 1960s that looks more like something from the 1980s
Well done Steve! The Green Hornet ran for just one series in 1966.
@@stuviewtv 1966 I was probably busy watching the World Cup
only got 2 wrong lol i must be getting old
Great score!
I did really badly only 19, I would have got more if I'd had more time. Brain fog!
I got 22 out of 25. Where's Doctor Who?
Can you tell us the music you’re using ?
Sorry, it's been a while since I made this one and I can't remember what the title of the music is!😀 I know it's a royalty free track but I don't think I have it saved anymore.
Such wonderful shows. Television was great back in the day; absolute garbage now !
25/25. Not bad for a 70s girl 😉
Fantastic score!
And to think the absolute crap that is on telly now !!.
Got zcars mixed with softly softly. Not a clue on lost in space or dr kildaire. Batman champions randall and hopkirk and mission impossible all classics. Mission impossible was way better than any of this nonsense tom cruise keeps churning out.
