I’m pretty excited for this, and I’m pretty enthralled by Inon Zur’s composition for this game. It’s so good. I can’t wait to get the album on release.

Looks good so far, hopefully they have a better launch than No Man's Sky and can deliver on at east most of hat was mentioned. No Alien races and maybe no multi-biome planets that I've seen so far and all the creatures look very bug-like, hopefully there's more variety in Fauna and Flora.

Unless they don't give you access to the game engine, in which case it won't . The industry is rapidly changing and companies are changing hands daily . The Cry Engine was a modders wet dream and Crytech supported and encouraged mods until one day they didnt and started issuing cease and desist orders and the thing is nobody bought Crysis to play Crysis, they wanted the mods and felt cheated when they were omitted but they really had no legitimate reason to be because they were operating on the presumption that nothing changes. If all your stock in this is based on you hoping things work out, where does that leave you if it doesn't ?

It's a tech demo and they clearly just slapped it together to show off at a gamimg expo . None of it is playable and the fine print clearly states that this is for promotional purposes and it is not intended as being indicative of a final . Same thing all across the board . Why show footage of a game that is conceptual at best ? Uh because our names on the banner next to Microsoft . Had to show em something
@@matthewshafer9545very true it feels like what no mans sky did, showing very little and making it sound alot bigger. Im guessing its gonna just be alot of Barren planets with fetch quests. but i could be wrong.
@@crimson_scum7129 dude that is actually not a good example anymore . I know it sounds crazy but that game is kind of good now . It was a joke that somebody tried to sell it as GoTy before . But because the developers aren't Activision they didn't sell you a game for $60 that was half finished with no intention of ever doing it . They promised alot I know but it is still in active development and improving . Actually has a port coming to the Switch this summer too .

100 stars is the area around the settled systems, not the rest of the unexplored universe which that quote references.

What ? Millions of stars . The milky way alone has hundreds of stars . The thing about them is how do you measure distance of the vastness of space with no basis to start from . Every measurement we have falls far short of even being useful in our own solar system much less one galaxy in a universe of countless . We measure distance outside our own system in light years but we dont understand the dimension of time to do this accurately . The math is wrong . If time is based upon this planet orbiting our sun then it's not real . How could it be ? It's not the first star or biggest star why would the basis for 4th dimension be based on it ?

@@mikewade777 yeah they got scope down . they pretty much owned the single player open world genre since Morrowind . There is something to be said about finding a working model that gamers like and then just polishing the fuk out of it for eternity .

I am still excited for this game, but the characters look like they were directly copied from Fallout 4 (slightly improved).
Even my characters in Fallout 4 (modified) looked better than this.

I've heard this criticism multiple times. Bethesda has never been technologically forward with their graphics so the characters are obviously inferior graphically in comparison to something like anything recent from Guerrilla Games.

i don't know who this youtuber is, having never seen her before, i found her excitement, and commentary very inauthentic. shows skill tree "WOW" in excitement. i mean c'mon. she looks young so maybe while i've seen it all before she was actually really excited but it didn't come across that way.
