This is definitely a lot more creepier than Oyasumi. While Oyasumi stimulates a Mental breakdown and Limbo of endlessly falling down, this ending just feels cold and void. It makes you feel all empty inside. Like it's all over. And thudd in the end just adds more to the fact Sunny just died via suicide from high place. It adds more to the it's all over and everything is wrong.
i definitely agree, but i also think that's precisely why Omocat didn't go with an ending like this. when you think about what the original Bad End was supposed to convey, it was essentially Sunny choosing escapism in its purest form, once and for all. My Time is a very cheery-sounding song in spite of its subject matter, & that's not by accident. it's meant to create a cognitive dissonance of sorts, reflecting what his suicide means to him. by choosing death -- an eternal sleep, one might say -- he's ensuring (at least in his mind) that he'll be able to live in his headspace & stay in denial forever. in headspace, everything is fine. Mari's alive. he (as Omori) & his friends go on fun adventures & explore magic technicolor lands together. to him, the only thing he was really ending at that point was any reason to acknowledge the truth. to sleep, perchance to dream. of course, that doesn't mean the threat of Black Space won't always be there, either. for in that sleep of death what dreams may come... (i'm sure i could draw more parallels between the end of Omori & Hamlet's soliloquy, but it's getting late & i need sleep so whatever, i'm done being a pretentious loser for tonight lol.) so yeah, this ending would have been super cool & creepy, but the original ending was more thematically appropriate with the overall message of the story.

The bad ending song (My time), feels extremely memorable and unique. The Song feels cheery, and Happy but the lyrics of the song and context is what makes it Horrifying. The happy tone of the song relates to Sunny's state of mind. He believes that by jumping off he's free from the guilt of Killing Mari and will forever be happy in his dreams, while in reality he is forever trapped in his Dreams and will remain in a continuous Limbo. The entire bad ending gives the feeling of 'Fake happiness' and 'Fake security' as Black space like you explained will always come back to him.

Well, in continuation where Sunny commits OYASUMI, many bad things may happen to his remaining friends. Basil will likely get his hands on shears again, Aubrey would think it's her fault, Hero would be suffering from being unable to protect everyone again and Kel, I dunno, would try and keep his friends together once again or maybe he'll get even worse than others after everything failing
well there is a fanfic that is somewhat similar to what youre describing but its set in a world where hero discovers him on the roof and pulls him back before he can jump
This should be the ending if you do this route TWICE. The first time is My Time/Oyasumi, and the second, doing this again after the first time, is this.
Fun fact: every kel meme is canon so sunny survives the bad ending because kel canonically placed a very good trampoline where sunny was going to land and saved him
it was actually brilliant that you put sunny's hitting the ground and breaking his bones sound, and winds getting lighter after sunny hit the ground,, it makes you know it actually happened and sunny was not saved in any way, true bad ending

I imagined an extra scene which shows an extremely gloomy aftermath. No music, or sound, no nothing, just silence. Hero, Aubrey, Basil, and Kel sitting with each other in a barely lit dark room. A more twisted, lower pitched something laugh is heard as the camera then zooms out showing three new somethings above Hero, Aubrey, and Kel before the screen cuts to black.
As much as I love the emotional whiplash of hearing an amazing song during a tragic situation, (especially since that was the first time I heard My Time) I like this more. I flinched when hearing him hit the ground and even writing this I have a sick feeling in my stomache. I think seeing this would've had more impact than the real ending
It would have been scarier if at the end or a scream followed by frantic purse rumbling, a phone dial. Maybe it would have been scarier if they would have shown a short scene of the aftermath, with Aubrey, Basil, Kel, and Hero all getting a bad ending in a way as well.
Even with the Normal Bad ending being extremely unnerving, this is just desolate, while when Bo-en’s My Time had had a happy, blissful undertone following an extremely dark scene, this is just isolating. Especially, when you can hear the wind howling by, shortly interrupted with Sunny’s immediate death following the fall, It feels more eerie, even with theoretically the same practical ending.

I had to take a few seconds to process what had happened, hearing Sunny hit the ground like that made me feel like I had lost someone close to me. Then, after all of that thinking, my first reaction was "OH SH*T"
On one hand I hate that it doesn't end with the crack And on the other the crack in the middle leaving you in silence for the rest of the credits makes it hit so much harder
I think the benefit from using my time in the bad ending is that it twists and perverts people's happy and awe-filled emotions they have of the song, some of whom have known it for so long that it would be considered a nostalgic childhood memory. That being said, I probably prefer this one more. It just rings hollow in a great way
Imagine if there was an alternate version, where it starts as the Oyasumi cutscene but then slowly the song fades away, as if Sunny is leaving the dream world. Then sudden slow fade to black, silence, and then this version of the credits plays. More silence after the break, suddenly footsteps, followed by My Time/Oyasumi playing distantly like someone blasting it on their phone, followed with number dialing & chatter.

Then i read the comments and actually watch the video and my heart skipped a beat when i heard the skull craking. I really like the my time ending and how sunny gets to that point. I was also hoping a sound om him in the official version but this literally gave me chills so im gonna stick with the official one

Honestly, the only thing that could be even more jarring to me is... _If you mixed these together._ Imagine it: you select "Yes", the credits play the way they do in the original game-- EXCEPT instead of hearing the entire song, it cuts off suddenly and without warning in the dead middle of it, the dark screen almost startling you. Almost. The sound effect you use plays. The rest of the credits roll just like this. One final spiral, one final song...One life. All abruptly cut short by a decision that he can never take back.
