Now that's a tool that will so up your game. definitely lot of applications to use it in...
Could you give us a review of what you Like and Dislike between the lasers you have tested. It would really help us decide which is best for what we plan to do with them.
The fact that this is already put together, is a 22 watt, and has integrated air assist are all huge wins. It comes with more of a price because of that, and the XTool D1 is the only other comparable I've tested, and that was last year. I think for leathercraft, you really want at least a 20watt, and I'm going to investigate the possibility of trying out a 40w if I can to see the difference.
There are 40w reviews of this machine available but nobody really compares it to the 22w. I decided to buy a Falcon 2, but I canât decide between the to module options, is the 40w worth the double price tag?
@@jeroendesmit7381If you haven't decided yet they're both on sale right now.
Can it cut 4mm acrylic?
Now I know you don't throw any punches and use well-placed profanity I will be going over all your older shows. It's refreshing to get someone shooting from the hip. I am most certainly not a pg 13 kind of guy and I talk straight so your channel is a keeper brother. Just expect lots of questions and remarks. All the very best from Scotland.
Hahaha
How is this for doing long pieces of leather that stick outside of the burn area?
I know some lasers are able to move your piece to do longer areas, haven't seen it with this one though.
I'm considering pulling the trigger on one of these, but I have been trying to find out how you deal with the charred surface of engraved leather. Does it stain the un-touched leather when you wipe it off?
The horse had some char and I just buffed it on my shirt before showing it to the camera. I can't say I'm an expert yet, but it seems avoidable. I've also seen a product on some videos that you put down over the leather first then laser through it that supposedly helps.,
@@DarkHorseWorkshop thanks!
Where is the video of that stainless eagle or owl? I've seen it in thumbnails, but I haven't seen anyone actually make anything even vaguely resembling it.
From the reality thumbnails? Not sure... I do know the last will color metal.
Do you have any idea if the 22 watt can be upgraded to the 40 watt at some point? I'd buy the 22 watt today of I knew the upgrade was possible in the future at a decent price.
Yes its upgradable , Just the 40w module is ÂŁ1200 mind you

The bracket on the 40w is a bit larger, but what I understand they will provide everything with to module the make it compatible. Problem is that the module alone cost more then a compleet machine đ
@@jeroendesmit7381 I ended up purchasing their 40w machine during their pre-sale and getting a decent discount.
Yup
Is this laser cutter compatible with iPad Pro ?
Thank you
Beyond my area of expertise. If there's laser software for an ipad then probably?
Magnus!!!! Language lol jk
It will not go over 600mm a min!
It's certainly fast but I keep it fairly slow.
A lot of bad reviews from buyers over the customer service
I'll be honest I've had some customer service issues myself. Like a lot of these they're Chinese made and a bit rough in that department. But the laser is great.
@@DarkHorseWorkshop I actually got mine. I was on them from the start, probably annoyingly, but they got it to me in record time and kept in contact. Glad I took the chance.
