Just saw this. Tip of the year for sure!!! Thank you Mattias.
Appreciate it. Glad u like the tip! 🥳
Thanks for the reminder, that is one I was looking for and forgot about it, until you did this video.
Especially useful (to me) to get old Audio out and MIDI-ize it!
Awesome, very happy to share this reminder. NeuralNote is a no-brainer! Love how easy it is to work with. 🍿😄
Super cool! I can't believe how well it picked up the picking, chords and sustain! One of the best audio to midi plugin's I've seen yet.
Glad you like it!
Absolutely! I've tried so many I had given up. Cannot believe this is free. Great review.
I can't believe this is free. It's very useful for quickly adding a bass line(s) to guitar parts.
Indeed, the best!
An interesting plugin. I want to try to apply it in my work. I have been looking for the possibility of such a conversion for a long time. Thank you for reviewing the relevant and necessary information!.Good luck!
NeuralNote is definitely a useful plugin. It's really sweet we get it for free! So many useful tools coming out these days. Happy to share! Thanks for writing!
Very cool. Need to download this ASAP. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely, NeuralNote is a winner! I’m still baffled it’s free. Kudos to the hard working coders!👌🍉
Exciting plugin! Thanks for sharing. Great content.
Thanks! 🙏👌😄
Awesome! Super easy and efficient. Thank you!
You are welcome 👌
Beautiful! Thanks bro!
Thanks 🎉
Morning! Wow, what a helpful tool to wake up to on a Sunday morning, I wonder what I'll be doing today? 🥰 Thanks buddy!
Goodmorning. My guess is that you’ll be converting tons of audio loops into midi!? 😂👌🍀🥁
@@MattiasHolmgren Roger that!! 🥳💫🎶🎹
I found it before and have no time to test it. But this is very good to see how it works. Thanks. I will use it in combination with the Fender Riffstation (now 1.6.3 latest and old version, no maintain anymore) and change the old discontinued app. But it is really good in combination to get melodies from brainstorming records :)
This is an awesome plugin and great minds think alot! Did my review a while back and got great results as well. Love the vid and glad to have found the channel. Subbed! Blessings! 💯
Awesome thanks for tuning in. 😄☕️
Thank you for this heads-up video.
Any time!
Whoa. Super impressive! Thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Thanks 4 the vid Mattias, amazing stuff there, it's seems to be working as its best with monophonic tracks. I'll will try it to with complex guitar solos, although the bending issue might be a problem.
Thanks, well it will probably be messy with more intricate and complex lines. But it's quite potent with simpler lines. Very impressive!
Tack! Har letat sjukt länge efter nåt sånt här!
Grymt bra!👍
So awesome. Glad I subscribed to your channel, good Sir. Thank you! 👍
Happy to share Mike! Big Thanks 🙏 for joining my channel! 🥁😄☕️
Thank you so much for this.
Cheers!
You are welcome 😊🎉
thanks a lot for this - extremely useful information!
You are welcome, its an awesome plugin! Free is always handy too 🏆
thanks a lot, it's probably one of the best between the many tried
Yeah Neural Note totally rips! 🏆💪
This is gonna be great for piecing apart songs for learning
Indeed, super userful
Thanks for this video!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the heads up
💪🥁😄🎸☕️
Correction: its not “realtime”. Some parts if the analysis require approx 1s audio chunks to get ampltude for the lowest freq bins. 🎉
That said, NeuralNote is suuuper quick analysis tool!
Thank you for this! I put it in another comment, but if you don't want to mess around with pitch correction, maybe a midi filter would help clean up some results in certain cases.
You are welcome! 🥳Yeah you can def experiment with extra midi filters.
Looks like it works great! I will check it out! :)
Hey, yeah def. check it out! 🍿 Audio to midi was always a hassle if you didn't shovel out money on Melodyne.
Thank you for this. Your accent is fantastic I LOVE IT!
Awesome, thanks! Appreciate it!👌😂💪🥳
@@MattiasHolmgren I can't get cubase to recognise the vst, I've tried it in all plug in folders but no luck! This isnt your problem though !
Mind blowing! thanks!
Happy to share. Lovely software.
That's damn impressive!
NeuralNote is great! 👌
this is the best I have seen ... thanks
Agree extremely good plug!!
Note: The "appropriate" folder is the folder where your plugin resides.
On Mac OSX it's: Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3
on PC it might be: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
At first I was so stoked...but, I'm using Garageband with AU plugin. I tried a non complex keyboard track first and it added a lots of odd notes, also a small window for "Controller"? My friend did the playing, sent me the GB project.
I also tried a drumbeat that was used as a click track originally, just kick and snare and it gave me tons of notes too. Your demo had short phrases, I am trying this on a 4:30 song track.
Hey, Maybe first break down that song into separate stems which will be easier for Neural Note to extract the midi. You can extract stems with FL Studios built in AI function. ;)
yes and on the basic pitch website you can adjust the note size and sensitivity , i haven't used the plugin yet , soon, im assuming it has the same functionality. hope so,
Nice. Thanks brother
Happy to share Kevin!
Thanks a lot!
Very useful. 👍
PS: Want to try write bass parts on guitar and convert it into midi.
Setup and tried this plugin - and it's works very cool, and free.
Perfect. :)
Glad it helped!
Great vídeo 🔥💯
Thanks 🙏😄🍀
Legend! vielen dank!!!
💪😄
This is amazing, thank you. I have a question: does it works with drums and/or beats?
Try it, but it's probably more accureate on melodic material. Which is what it is designed for.
@4:18 looks like it turned the pitch bend into separate notes because the drop-down box is set to "No Pitch Bend"
I've been looking for something like this that in real-time transcribes humming and/or singing to midi notes - that way I can use my voice + mic as a midi controller.
Yeah, NeuralNote is def super useful and should be in everyones music toolbox!
yap Thank You Mattias !
Thanks for the video. 👍👍👍
No problem 👍
Cool... very usefull... Thanks
😄😄🥁
Mind blowing technologies, I’m not sure what will happen in 10 years. Thank you for your video! I am looking something which can convert music sheets to midi, can you recommend something?
Yeah this year is gonna be mindblowing. Not to talk about 10 years. Phew! 🥳🎸Hmm music sheets, like a note sheet pdf to midi comverter?☕️
@@MattiasHolmgren yes note sheet in pdf format
Actual goat omg 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
This Ai take over!!! I’m here for it!!!
It's the beginning of a new universe within a universe.
Thanks a lot.
Thanks for the video!!!...
✨Thank you, Sir, 🙏✨
Neural is better than many expensive plugins.
Indeed
Beats dubler lol
@@wyatttheskid $149...lol
Hi Mattias, thank you for this great video !
Do you know if the mac version of the plugin is U2B, so it is arm64 compatible and works natively on Apple Silicon macs ?
Kind regards from Holland.
Hi, oh it wasn’t clear from the release page but I believe it’s intel x86 atm. When I run it next time I’ll check activity monitor to see what build the service is running. Though I think it would be possible to make an Apple Silicon arm64 build from the source. The plugin ran fine on my M1 Max though, so no worries.
@@MattiasHolmgren Hi Mattias, great, thank your for your help !
Tack från Sverige!
vassego! ;)
Thank you bro. Great help. Anyway, I wonder is there any Bitwig built-in pitch corrector? Like Melodyne or Newtone in FL?
Hi, sorry, there is no pitch-correction like melodyne/flex pitch/newtone /variaudio in Bitwig current version 5.
@@MattiasHolmgren Sad. but Thank you👍
Thank u so much
Most welcome 😊
im using garageband, how do i add neuralnote as a plugin?
thank you
Unfortunately in logic I cant drag and drop audio files into the plugin.. so no better than just using the standalone. Am i missing something?
I’ll try it tonight
Its a must have! 🌞💪
Thank you fro South Afrika!!!!!
U are welcome!
What about mixed full drum wavs with 5 channels? Kick snare etc will it selerate each track?
Give it a try!
Hello, how do you install it?
What is the appropriate folder we're supposed to put it in after downloading? Just never installed something without an installer before!
The "appropriate" folder is the folder where your plugin resides. On Mac OSX it's: Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3 Rarely used: Users/your username/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3. on PC it might be: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
Thank you so much!!! @@MattiasHolmgren
U art welcome 😄💪🥁
I Have a question Mattias : i see You use Bitwig and i was wondering how many of the stio version plug ins are missing in the producer version because music is a hoby and i dont want to spent to much on a daw allthough right now i am only looking for a replacement for studio one anyway. Could you do a video on do we realy need the Studio version of bitwig or is producer eddition more then enough. i tested this DAW and produced a track on it called " Tranceformer " ( see in Soundcloud ) and was actualy amased how easy things are with the daw but at that time there was no producer option as is now the case. however i also do a lot of Orieantal scaled music and studio one does not even recognise any samytone in between two full tones , so whenever i quantize the daw turned that into literal shit ( sorry ) : does Bitwig have similar issues ? and is producer more then enough for my needs or anyone elses needs ? i also am trying to find a way to test out ableton standard but seems there is no way to truely test it since you cant do the common stuff such as saving ( so far i understood ) but having made one track with Bitwig kind of tells me this is the DAW to use so in a sumery here is what i need to know
plugins
- are there major needed plugins that come with Studio excluded from producer
- are there any E Guitar related plugins in the producer version and if so how good are they
- is the DAW able to recognise oriental tones and music in general as such or does it also quantize them into common scales ( by which melodies get turned into literal trash! )
i would appreciate it if you could give us such a video and i allready subscribed because i like the way how you explain things . Thank You
Dubler is not a sample midi converter..Its totally different,i have it and love it..
Спасибо, как раз искал, нечто подобное.
Cool
I try to download that and it says cannot download cause its not from the app store. When I go to the app store it can not be found. I have a mac mini os Sonoma 14
Thank you so much for your great service to us musicians that need a little help :)
You are welcome. Happy audio transcribing to midi 😄🥁🍀
Free?
Yes
@@MattiasHolmgren YES DOWNLOADED, TQ
What version of Bitwig are you running in this video?
Bitwig 5.0.3
It's very nice video but pls tell me sir how to convert full song into midi i tried but all track playing in one track even drums also in same track can you pls suggest me how to split seperate tracks
If you want to split full music mix like that you need other software. FL studio can extract stems, which you later can extract the midi from with Neural Note. 👌
@@MattiasHolmgren thank you very much sir but pls tell me is it possible to convert full MP3 song into midi ?I mean complete song into midi is it possible Sir in neutral notes software?
Is it possible to make midi of multiple track at one time?
That s a really cool transformer
Absolutely 💯💪🏆
Does it works with strumming patterns to?
Sure try it!
Why is it that every single time I click on a tutorial for some kind of digital audio production question I have all of you guys are french lol. (There is nothing wrong with that of course it is just an observation)
French 😂 I’m swedish.
Europeans are the best electronic musicians
Electronic music is a staple in France more than just about anywhere else in the world(Germany, UK and Brazil also have healthy club scenes there) Mr. Oizo got me into electronic music in the first place.
@@MattiasHolmgren I was close!
😂
How does it handle vocals?
I only did a few tests and it worked fine after some param adjustments. Very helpful tool. Give it a try! 👌😄
Could this work in GarageBand iOS on iPad
From what I understand Neural Note is not available as an au3 plugin for iOS, so unfortunately not.
Following your link doesn't display the download page shown in your presentation.
I just confirmed that the link is correct. Just scroll down on it and follow my instructions. ☕️
I just played with this in Reaper. It installs and runs OK, but annoyingly, you can't feed audio into it from a recorded audio track. You have to render the audio to an actual file and then drop it. This is a quite cumbersome process. It would be a much better tool if it could accept audio input from the DAW like any normal FX plugin. Or am I missing some obvious trick or setting here?
Dropped the .vst3 file on the vst3 folder and doesn’t show up 😞
Just some debugging ideas: What DAW are you using? Do other vst3 plugins appear? Did you check your DAWs plugin manager to see if it gets recognized, or if you need to activate scanning of plugin folder.
@@MattiasHolmgren I’m using logic, other vst3 do appear there, I rescanned all plugins by getting rid of the AudioUnits.cache and still nothing
Will this work for fl studio 12?
👍 sure
How to convert midi only piano without drum etc??
First use stem separation, its free with FL studio 21.2 😄
@@MattiasHolmgren thank you sir
Miedä 😍
Ädaim 😄💯
Can this plugin work with FLstudio?
Yes any DAW that supports third party vsts.
is this vst works with drums?
Its for melodic material.
can this be saved as a midi file?
Yes
is the plugin still free? thanks for sharing✌🏿
Yes still (always) free! 👌
so cool as i have 1000 of voice recordings of melodies
👌☕️
I must be unlucky Won't allow drag and drop of audio files. Thanks for the info though.
what does appropriate folder mean ?
any… a suitable folder 😄
@@MattiasHolmgren thanks ......how do i differentiate between suitable and non suitable ?
Anyone ever try this for drums?
Cool
Indeed, it's super quick. Amazing tool for people who have a hard time picking out melodies / chords etc.
How about singing?
Give it a try Emily! Super fun and you can’t beat free 😂👌☕️
i wonder how it would have handled the pitch bends if the setting wasn't _"no pitch bends."_
❤
Looks nice, but after downloading it I'm super frustrated: no matter in whatever plugin folder I put the "NeuralNote.vst3", it doesn't appear in my DAW!! ☹ (I'm using Studio One Pro without any problems otherwise...)
What OS? Make sure the vst3 is in the correct location / folder! Also run plugin manager and rescan for new plugins (if necessary)… just some ideas to try!
@@MattiasHolmgren Thanks a lot for taking your time to answer me (and so quick!), but I already tried that; put that thing into _several_ folders (all of which contain plugins I use without any problem); rescanned and even restarted the whole program a number of times - nothing worked...
Then I tried the Standalone Version - that _did_ work, but totaly inaccurate: the midi file is way longer than the audio file and so it is, of course, totally not in sync... (Interestingly, I got the same result when trying out to do that _online_ on an AI page...)
Really frustrating; especially since it looks so easy in your video. ^^
Oh, and my OS is Windows 10.
@@MattiasHolmgren P.S.: In the beginning you mentioned that some DAWs have this exact function on board already - is there any _free_ DAW among these?
@@geronomina6395 hmmm it’s been a while since I played around with free DAWs. So I have no idea.
@@MattiasHolmgren Okay...
Support AAX ??
No idea, I only use AU and VST3. Check their website.
gamechanger move
I hope it come to IOS too !
Would be awesome! Source is there! 🎉
Get a PC instead? 😅
Haha, get a Mac like the grown ups. 😂 I have several PCs too. 😄
now fnf modders have fun
Can't do vocal audio to midi without extensive cleanup
Close ? It’s an octave too low
Wow. I just fed it half a dozen full songs, and it got 85% of the way there in seconds. I get the impression there's a workflow to be discovered that might be a cheat code to understand what makes a song work in the shortest possible amount of time. Something like converting to midi, auto-assigning the parts to match the instrumentation, then mapping out the chord structure. Maybe the other tools to do this already exist.
Alas, no Linux version available
I use fl mobile can someone do this for me? I can pay
