+stuart fillingham Sometimes I forget that we're rather lucky to be living in the Pacific NW. But I'm sure the UK has its own beauty that we'll never experience here in the US. Thanks for watching Stuart!
+Mizzuz Moto your right! We do had fantastic landscape to ride through! I was refering more to the campsites we have here. all campers are packed in tight among eachother, and you just dont have the same sense of freedom, and lighting a campfire is definately not allowed!
+stuart fillingham I guess that's thanks to our National Parks system and our National Forests which are open to the public...There are regulation on campfires here, and you don't dare leaving your campsite unless your fire is completely out (big $ fine if you do) and sometimes we do have restrictions on fires, if its dry and windy, they will prohibit fires...
Liked the Sertao camping video, I used to have a 800 vulcan. You may like this Japanese guy's videos who bike camps a lot. He rides a Triumph Tiger 800 I think. SASURAI life which in English translation roughly means Bohemian Life. Cool video you posted make some more its summer!
Hindukush1234 More coming that's for sure. A bunch of us girls are planning several outings this summer - should be a blast. Thanks for the sub and for the pointer to Sasurai life!
I just completed one out at Riffe Lake near Mossyrock. Did you just do that during our recent bout of sun? I’ve wanted to do a bike camp at Lake Quinault for some time. Enjoyed.
***** Just did the ride this past weekend. Camped on Friday night and rode the loop on Saturday. Couldn't have been a more perfect day. Do it before the crowds come if you can.
Not a single bug got inside the mesh tent. There were some that were hovering on top but never got inside - you just have to remember to always keep the screen door zipped as soon as you enter or exit the tent. Especially at night when you have a light on.
I have seen ladies camping in the past but I have never seen a girl motorcycle camping by herself before. I am very proud of you.
+JIM ECKENRODE Many thanks Jim for the kind words! I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment :-).
Nice video, I have been on those same roads before, and I agree... Definitely gonna go back.
Having to go with Plan B for breakfast looked better than what was in the anyways.
Phil K You're right Phil - it was much better than the instant oatmeal that was planned :-)
nice video, had a very natural feel to it. wish we had camp sites like that in the uk!

What brand / model of camp chair is that?
It's the REI Flexlite. One of the lightest camp chairs available - comfy too.
How was sleeping in the tent? Did bugs come into the tent while you were sleeping?
Not a single bug got inside the mesh tent. There were some that were hovering on top but never got inside - you just have to remember to always keep the screen door zipped as soon as you enter or exit the tent. Especially at night when you have a light on.
