- In this Dollar Tree Diy Lantern, I take picture frames from the Dollar Tree spray paint and dry brush them to give them and old world feel, add a small round glass candleholder and clear plastic sink stopper to make a decoration on top to create a custom design. I show how easy and inexpensive it is to create a lantern to decorate your home with. Lanterns add a touch of elegance to your home decor.

What a lovely idea, its awesome. You could use another frame the same size as the top one and glue it to the bottom, so the bottom matches the top. Just pop your candle inside, would look wonderful with sprig of Holly and small gold Xmas tree baubles, a nice centre piece for table..'.. very festive. Xxxx

I couldn’t use bifocals either. Then I got progressive lens which is no lines, and I haven’t had a problem since👍

Love this idea.. I like printing pictures on vellum so I think doing that, inserting them into the frames and the use a battery operated candle inside would make a nice display too..your ideas are wonderful.
