I would remember downloading NFS World on my crappy laptop which still managed to run and man I had fun playing that game

Here's a tip: Play those multiplayer police chases, not the free roam ones. Massive money from them. And I mean massive. 2 hours in and you'll afford pretty much whatever you want.

@@user-uu1ki9jg6q he probably had the team escapes on WOPL. Blackpanthaa plays on WUGG, and TE are only for grinding to get good ultra/elite part. For money and exp it is better to do races, even the single player ones.

Only the first horizon actually focused on city driving. All the other ones focus on the country side, no cities. It’s too different imo but we need an open world street racer

LM01 nah it’s genuenly as good as dead, it doesn’t have anything to do with the fact how good a person is at the game, I quit months ago because of shit physics (clipping) and there being no content at all after finishing it, it’s only really fun when you’re playing through the story and grinding a bit after to get some extra cars and the reason why it doesn’t look dead is because of cross play and lobby’s closing to force people into new more active lobby’s

I just started playing it like a week ago. This game still rocks and it's even better than before if you ask me. It's great that every car is available for normal in game currency, even ones with custom skins and similar.

dawg...the memories...i remember coming home everyday from school...grinding my ass off to get the m3 gts...it brings a tear to my eye...

I remember when this game was shut down I was so sad even though I never played it and never heard of it
Man this game was gold i swear it was funny with the team escape with ur boddies and an amazing variety of cars
"sad". imagine the players who spent more than 1000$ on this game. a single car would cost you 10-50$ and you've seen the car-list in this video. most of the cars weren't available for ingame cash. this was literally the game that made EA figure out just how badly you can scam people via micropurchases, the most ridiculous thing was they implemented lootboxes LIKE A FEW MONTHS BEFORE SHUTTING DOWN THE GAME. imagine you encounter lootboxes for the first time, you get addicted and waste all of your life savings but at least you gain something from it, then they come out and tell you "uhhhhhh, sorry but now that we've made our money we can't give a F... about any of this and we're shutting it down next month"
now imagine that I thought the online-race winrate was the worst thing they could bring into this game a couple months earlier. everyone went from racing for fun to improving his ego, we went from having fun races to either having to wait 10-9999 minutes for a race or having to race against people who used the best car with all the best parts (some of the cars and most of the parts weren't even obtainable for free) and that's not even all, they only raced on one single track which they spent plenty of time perfecting. it was incredible, imagine that garbage 100mph silvia facing a guy who's doing a speedrun in a 200mph car and you were in the same class as him. in hindsight it's hard to take any of this serious but at the same time a lot of it has become common practice that's just incredibly disgusting.

The reason why the UI is so small is actually because you are playing at a high resolution. The UI is probably very low res so if it would be big at high resolutions it would just look blurry. I remember discovering this back when it was still officially online and it always seemed very strange to me
grinding the team escape class b for hours on end just to get a gallardo for the a class team escape was the shit, i remember the entire path by heart and omg the team escape c class spawn in that alleyway

This game was my favorite back then and still is to this day. Maybe when I get a decent PC up and running I'll look into getting this and relive those fantastic memories
WAIT IT'S BACK! I LOVED IT
I remember being a tad bit salty when this came out because it felt like a less interesting MotorCity Online... But it did grow on me.
remember how you needed to complete at least 1000 races/chases to get the mitshubishi EVO9 and that car was complete garbage and couldn't even compete with a tuned silvia but you only got the tuning parts by paying or completeing another thousands of races with one of the fastest cars (you only got garbage parts with the silvia/evo no matter what you did) and to add to this even if you put the most expensive parts on the evo9 (the parts were worth at least 10$ a piece as they were incredibly rare) the car was still complete garbage. the E46 M3 GT-R was the only competitive car for a while, after at least 10,000 races you could tune it to a point where it could compete against a LVL1 player who paid ~20$ for a single good car, and it only took like ~3-4 months until they came up with new updates and made you able to buy cars which would completely obliterate the only competitive F2P car at lvl1. I literally beat people who played thousands of hours without any skill whatsoever using the porsche GT3RS without grinding parts for it (unlike the F2P players) and it only got worse from there, until they made you able to buy "all" the cars for free, I'm obviously joking about the get all cars for free part, they let you buy lootboxes and they rarely ever gave you any decent cars, and they only gave you the F2P lootboxes after announcing the game was going to shut down within a month, and all of those cars were useless since they created an update a little earlier where you could get "ultimate" parts which made the best F2P/P2W parts useless since you could only get them from $$$ lootboxes. It's like they always read the community feedback and did the complete opposite of what we wanted and somehow they gained sexual pleasure from this.

one thing. Nightriders just replaces cars. In WUGG you get fully addon ones. If you want to play on wugg you need to join their discord server and don't leave it. Leaving discord can cause to banning ingame account. There is a channel on how to get ticket. Use the guide.

Man...I remember this game! It was on my crappy old family PC that was like from 2005 and this game barely worked with glitches and stuff and I still loved it even tho the only online race I could do with connecting after 3 years was drag races

I remember playing this game with my friends. Playing for better parts, collecting the diamonds, enjoying the races against and with each other. So much potential in this game, unfortunately wasted by EA. I think a MMO-style NFS World Remake could really work out. I enjoyed NFS World way more than the other single player NFS games, where you beat the game and that's it.

I remember how I used to play a lot of this game with my friend. I had an S5, he had an Evo VIII, and we were meeting online almost everyday.
Until he got bored and I was left alone. At one point I had 60 day streak of collecting Emeralds and I was finally able to get the 4* parts, as they weren't available in shop for credits
