I was at the game and when Powell was shooting free throws at the end was the loudest I have ever heard any stadium. It may seem like he chocked, but I think most players would've missed them in that environment. One funny thing is one of the reasons the crowd was so loud in that situation is that the Jazz have a promotion where if the road team misses two free throws in a row in the fourth quarter, everyone wins free sandwiches from Chick Fil A.
At 4:28 Clarkson switches from watching the shot to finding a man to box out, just in case. That's the kind of defensive mentality that slowed down the Mavs and might (hopefully) win this series.
As much i love Powel and what he brings to the table, this loss is on him: 2 missed FT followed by losing your man in the paint when EVERYBODY knows Utah is going for a 2 pointer at the last seconds of the game...
I'm going to disagree with the above comments, and say I agree that Powell really screwed the pooch here. In that situation you have to knock down at least one of the frees, so the Jazz require a 3 point play to make you lose - ideally both, of course, to make the situation that much tougher. Failing to get both of them is a choke, plain and simple.

They only winning without Luka just because Dallas frontman has been slump in game 2&3 this series otherwise it's almost impossible to beat Utah without Luka doncic. Shout-out to Dallas defense to create those barriers.
There's no saving this franchise. It's a lose-lose situation for them even if they win this series (which won't happen). The management will eventually blow-up the team after losing this series or after losing to a booker-less suns.
Beautiful finish by Utah, after Luka hit tht 3 and took the life out the crowd, Jazz stuck with it and Mitchell with a huge 3 pt play coming off a missed layup tht he rebounded himself and went back up!!! Great job by Utah. And then some missed FTs by DAL and Mitchell again makes the big play, drawing in defenders and it left the door open for a wide open alley-oop jam by Gobert tht proved to be the game winner!!!! Fantastic job by Donovan Mitchell in the final :45 seconds down 4, made back to back HUGE PLAYS to win his team the game and tie the series at 2 heading back to DAL, but it's a whole different monster now with Luka being back and dropped another 30 in his first game back since the last couple weeks of the season, his first game of the series and he went off, but some untimely missed free throws cost them, but Luka has amazing playoff numbers, he hasn't had ONE BAD GAME in all of the playoff games he's played so far!!!

Brunson screwed luka in that last play. Set up a wnba level screen and popped, setting up the double to luka. A solid screen or a roll would've been better
