- Guitar tutorial for I'm The Only One, fabulous song by Melissa Etheridge. On my Etherized guitar I show you how to play the song on an acoustic and/or electric guitar: rhythm/strumming, chords, riffs and solo part. Enjoy and rock on!

thank you for a great tutorial
Yes! I like how you talk about applying pressure to play the chord and releasing for just the muted sound. I also like the way that you don’t strum any chords but just mute strum so you get the ‘rhythm’ of the song. I learned so much in 10 minutes! Thank you! Thank you!
⭐️Totally Love your excellent tutorial teaching vibes ! Thank you groovy guitar chika! All the way from Australia 🇦🇺 can’t wait to see Melissa here again! May 2024 ⭐️Rock on ! Cheers

Very nicely done. Well constructed video. You have really helped me and my band.
Very detailed
Great lesson 😎
One of my favorite Melissa's song to play. Nice.
When I asked on twitter for which Melissa Etheridge song I should do a guitar tutorial for, this song got 60% of the votes!
You have a great way of teaching. I've recently started trying to learn more hooks, fills and leads on songs I've only played rhythm on for a long time. I'll be looking for more of you tutorials.
Just got the Traveler guitar and was watching your review then this came up...have Meissa's 12 string from Ovation...what a great lesson, looking forward to more...be safe
Excellent work. Really nicely explained and made it like vanilla. Two thumbs up
Truly was well laid out.
Just used your video to help with the chords for piano. Worked perfectly. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Miami ❤
Great
Perfectly demonstrate.

Thank you for this tutorial! I appreciate it when I can learn it on acoustic and electric guitar!

Bedankt voor je gedetailleerde beschrijvingen voor dit nummer
Ik ga er mee aan de gang
I'd love to know more about the guitar...
Hi, I love talking guitar and stuff so thank you for your question!. It's a Gibson Les Paul 60s Tribute (dark back) that I bought in November 2011. Fabulous neck, P90s that roar, lightweight (!). It feels and sounds awesome, it's all around just a great great guitar. Few alterations I made (I always tinker), but purely cosmetic: false binding (scraping off on the sides) and of course that visual on the lower horn ;-) Love this guitar, but... my love is shared with a few other guitars so it's not my one and only love ;-0
Hi nice tutorial. Do you have the SOMEBODY BRING ME SOME WATER tutorial?
ME can explain it the best: czcams.com/video/3bd2QDoq02w/video.html
Can you make another video for SOMEBODY BRING ME SOME WATER? I mean a slow and well explained tutorial like the one you did here in your video. Thanks! For the response
@@LorenNand Hi, just do a search on YT and you'll find some tutorials. Just a little tip: when I play Bring Me Some Water, I use a powerchord A and play the little intro riff from that by barring my index finger on fret 5 and then hammer-ons with your middle finger and pinkie to get that little riff. It's not exactly how she plays it, but it gets you close. Hope this helps.
Thanks so much Hester. Anyway, I just clicked the subscribe button hehehe. See yah.
Is that a Blue Ridge guitar and if so do you like it?
Yes, that's a Blueridge guitar from 2005 and like it very much: great tone, lots of sparkle and deep ends and it feels great. Love this one:-)
@@HestersMusicVideos Thanks for the reply. I've been debating on getting one for a while.
Go for it. BTW I got the 163 model: solid wood and 000 shape.
This women was really good in Midsommar
Lol
on the intro trill on the return and turn around, you're thumping the low E before you go to G. its not right, ppl might learn it that way and its not correct.. sorry. a lil constructive criticsm
Oh it's been ages since I played this song, but I just went through it and you mean the Em riff that I explain round the 7.47-8.00 mark? I notice I indeed end that little riff on the 3rd fret of the E string which is a G. Since the song is in G major (relative Em) that's good. Fun song, I should check out my own lesson once again and learn it ;-)
