I am a nephrologist and kidney doctor who believes that the best tool to reduce the burden of kidney disease globally is not medication, lab tests, or even genetics research. Instead, knowledge of kidney disease can best protect our kidneys.
This channel is part of the kidney disease awareness project I have worked on for years. It started with long conversations with kidney patients in the office and hospital. During these conversations, I was perplexed to see patients’ lack of knowledge about their kidney disease.
To fill this gap, I developed a blog for kidney disease patients, “Kidneyblogs.com,” where patients could find the correct information-and access a nephrologist for kidney-related questions. But then, I realized that not all Urdu- and Hindi-speaking patients could read English, and many preferred listening. This revelation led to the formation of the CZcams channel you will explore.

Patients become depressed when they hear that they have kidney disease.
This depresssion increase the disease. You are really very helpful for such people to whom you give hope. ACE, ARB, SGLT-2 inhibitor and fineron are hope for millions of people. Role of meat and vitamins/ medicine toxicity should also be addressed to give awareness to people.
One video should be made on medicines in latest research.

Does age also matters with good management? For example, a young person will go.to end stage quicker than an old person or vicee versa if they are at same stage and management of ckd is good in both
age Does matter if someone diagnosed with ckd at Young age he can live long rather than old age people with proper management.

Microalbumin is a useless test. If you want to check how much protein is in the urine, you need to check urine albumin to Creatinine ratio and then see a nephrologist for the results. Don’t ask such important things in comments on social media. These are life and health issues, they need to be managed by doctors in the office.
