This video was very helpful! I need to purchase a cream separator (maybe I will win one 😍 that would be amazing!) by spring. This will be our first year with 2 cows, freshening at the same time. I usually quick cool milk in the freezer before moving it to the fridge but there is no way I’ll be able to fit 16 half gallon jars in my freezer every day. I need the cream separator to keep the cooling and jar dishes more manageable while still getting my cream. Then I can easily feed skim to the pigs. Your video really helped calm my nerves about the separator. I’ve been scared of washing it, the setup and the noise but this makes it seem pretty doable. Slightly scared I’m going to plaster my kitchen in cream if I’m being honest now though haha. Everything I’ve read says the Slavic beauty it the only separator to even bother trying. The best on the market, especially for the price point.

Hello, I purchased the Slavic Beauty cream separator, and I can't get the drum to open. Did you run into this trouble? They sent me a replacement, and it is not opening either.
I am turning it counterclockwise. I am not a weakling.
It feels like it is super glued together.
