It's hard for people who don't play football to get how hard these dribbles are. Most football players struggle to even go past one defender. The fact that some of these players are toying with 3-4+ defenders is crazy for me as a guy who plays football at an amateur level.
Fo real tho
The really hard thing that usually goes unnoticed, are the small delicate touches at high speed. That is the most difficult thing to defend, skill moves like stepovers, elasticos, rabonas... You can see them in done in street any court around the world. But that delicate control of the ball is differential, and goes easily unnoticed by people because a simple contact with the ball, is not a flashy leg movement, but what we have to focus on is how the ball is behaving.
@@MD-ez8fg everyone can do step overs rabonas etc but timing is everything. Most players do these skills and stay in my same place don’t get anywhere, the select few players that do them well have the timing on point to the point where the defender can do nothing about it
It's for all level of football players
Let's feed them some Puskás bro!
Traditionally numbers were reserved for certain roles. In general: number 1 is for the goalkeeper, numbers 2 to 5 are for defenders, 6 to 8 for midfielders and 9 to 11 for forwards. But, it depends on the formation the team plays as we see number 7 for example mostly used for forwards (wingers). As time went on, players got to choose their own number which I think is a cool thing. Still, you'll see this tradition held high.
I always was 7 or 10 :)
@@gingerbaker_toad696 11 for me
I always always number 5 right back...
@@_RS9 goalgetter
@@gingerbaker_toad696 indeed💪🏾😈
10 used to be for the most technical advanced player on the team, they mostly play behind the strikers, feeding them balls and scoring themselves.
The original number 10 was Pelé, he used to play as a central attacking midfield or central foward
@@Ratoraum the original? You must be kidding!
@@camsaffari Before Pelé the 10 was Just a regular number, after Pelé the 10 was given to best in the team
@@camsaffari He is actually right. The og mythical 10 was Pele.
#10 was, still is to a lesser degree, the default jersey number for most attacking maestros.
More for the "offensive playmakers", also called "Fantasists".
The number ten is traditionally associated with the role of attacking midfielder or forward. He is typically the team's most technically skilled player and best playmaker. Best analogy: he is the quarterback of an old school wishbone option offense, or a point guard who is true penetration threat as well as a passer and outside shooter.
The number nine is reserved for or associated with the striker position. Strikers are a team's best and most reliable scoring threats. A traditional striker is able to move well in congested space and put himself in a position to receive passes and crossed balls where he is in the best place to score. Best analogy: he is the star running back combined with a deep threat side receiver.
A classic defensive number is 4. A four is sometimes called "the destroyer". He is meant to own the defensive middle of the pitch/field, mark the opposing center forward, and distribute the ball to his midfielders and wingers in order to create his own team's opportunity to attack.
As another poster mentioned, the position number is more often than not different to the player's shirt number. But, the roles themselves are still defined by number. You will hear people talk about a player being "a classic number nine", a "false nine" (meaning that he may start well forward, then drift back to more of a playmaker role), or a "true number ten".
Played myself, great analysis for gen players, 443,442 form is my bread butter central mid field #6
#'s 9 and 10 will always be worn by the best forwards. Pele and Maradona (2 of the greatest ever) wore #10 which helped popularize it back in the day. It's basically the #23 of the NBA.
And Ronaldo make #7 Be like 9 and 10
@@gabrielleek7108 7 was legendary in manchester united even before Ronaldo came but yea Ronaldo gave it more prestige
It was based off position too
9 is striker
@@ApocalypticFart i agree bro, but for the New generation 7 is Ronaldo
But we know about The legends
Salute bro
Hey guys, I just wanna say I enjoy your reactions and appreciate you coming from the States and reacting to football videos (love your Em reactions too). Y'all some cool dudes.
#10 has been worn by many legendary players, it is an honour to wear but also bears big responsibility. That position is basically forward midfielder, just behind the strikers (can vary depending on the tactical system). A player wearing #10 is usually complete. Passing game, dribbling, shooting and good perception of everyone's position (both teammates and opponents). They are usually creative players, able to "carry" the game when things get rough. #10 is often the captain as well (being the best/most talented or experienced player on the team)
A Portuguese player at West Ham saw he wasn't given his number 10 shirt for a match. He left the changing room before the game and went home. Paulo Futre possibly?
de bruyne when football becomes art
Do Zinedine Zidane guys please, hes a living legend, definitely part of the GOATs list
number 10 is the equivelant to 23 in basketball generally the point guard of the team responsible for creating plays, assisting and scoring. must be a complete player who is well rounded. its the reason you see 10s being the sauciest, they are usually the most technical.
You really should look at the defensive side of the game.
It truly shows you what this sport is all about.
For an attacking player making mistakes isn't that big of a deal but for a defensive player a mistake can cost you a goal, game or even a championship.
It goes either ways, if an attacking player misses a goalscoring opportunity it can cost his team a game/trophy/championship
“What about us” by Samson!! Man must be heard everywhere!! Or ball if I want to
Number 10 is often for playmakers & strikers . ❤😍🔥💥✌🙏
10 is usually the best all around player, usually a center midfield, the general. 7 is the ferrari number...the fast sick scorer. So digging that you all are watching soccer! Keep up the content fellas
A good footballer to look at is Ricardo Quaresma Portuguese like CR7 could have been just as big as him if it wasn't for his attitude but he has done some amazing things with the ball he most known for the robona and outside of the boot shots curling them like people do with the inside of their boot
Number 10 is the one that lead the team ,direct the game
Nr 10 can mean different things from club to club, but a common thing is that playmakers gets number 10. But it can also be a pure striker that gets it in 1 club, while a wing can get it in another club. I have also seen deep defensive midfielders with number 10,as well as offensive central midfielders. Its different from club to club, but the most common thing is that a playmaker gets it. A dominant force on the team.
Number 10 is usually the guy you gotta watch for, the most talented, the guy that has the vision and the skill, he can pass, dribble and score. Some examples: Pelé, Maradona, Platini, Zidane, Valderrama and a long etc.... They are the ones that make the magic happens!
The number 10 is usually the best player or the most skillful, technical player of the team.
Number 2/3: Defensive player on the wings. Defends but also contributes offensively, with crosses to box interplaying with his partner in the wing.
Number 4/5: Defender. A wall, usually strong and resilient.
Number 6/8: Heart/engine/organization of the team. Playmakers. Some playing from deep, others venture more forward.
Number 7/11/17: Dribbler, usually in lightning quick and a demon in the wings. Would occasionally score, Ronaldo made it a trend to score almost always from the wings.
Number 9: Lethal. Scorer. Can be skilled.
Number 10: Magical, responsible for creating chances for himself and team. Number ten meant brain of the team.
Ozil !!! We need an Ozil one
I love these football videos
10 marks a position which is attacking midfielder in the centre of the field behind the striker. Most attacking midfielders happened to be the most technically gifted players on the field so eventually it devolved into the best player on the team wearing 10 but that isnt always true. 7, 9, 10, 11 are numbers for attacking positions so if you see any of those 4 numbers they are most likley and attacker with high technical ability (highlight reel players)
The #10 is an attackers role, and the role traditionally means someone who plays the spaces between the midfield and the front attacking line. So yeah the #10 tend to be big goal scorers and some clubs reserve the number for someone who is goated. 9 is usually an attacking role too.
1 goal keeper, 2-5 defenders, 5-8 Midfielders, 9-11 forwards (winger, strikers) 12 and above usually players choice , some no overlaps between positions like 5 & 6 could be midfield or defence and 10 used to be playmakers so they dabble in midfield and strikers
I recommend you guys react to Ronaldo Fenomeno The living legend
Basically numbers are reversed for certain roles.. sure you can pick your own number but many players like to stick with the traditional numbers.. Number 1 is for the goalkeeper, Number 2-5 is for defenders but the centre backs usually pick number 4, midfielders usually pick 6-8 but there are some players who choose 17 like Kevin De Bruyne or someone who chooses number 10 like Luka Modric, Number 9-11 is for the forwards.. it also depends what formation each team plays.. one of the most well known formation is 4-3-3 (goalkeepers aren’t counted in a formation) which means there are 4 defenders (2 centre back, 2 full backs) 3 midfielders (usually one of them is a defensive midfielder) and 3 forwards (2 of them being a winger and 1 striker) wingers/ inside forwards tend to use 7 and 11 like Ronaldo for number 7 or Neymar for number 11 and their role is to cut inside play with defenders and score or assist, or make a run on the flanks and cross it in to the striker.. stikers who are number 9 are usually only focus on scoring as much goals as possible like Lewandowski or Ibrahimovic.. and then there are the number 10s.. they are usually the most technical players on the field.. they usually play as a centre forward in a 433 false 9 formation or as an attacking midfielder.. the best players to wear number 10 are Messi and Maradona.. if you watch them play you’ll notice that they play much deeper than a traditional stiker and the wingers become the inside or inverted forward hence the name of the formation false 9.. they usually assist the most and/or score the most goals like Messi.. the midfielders who choose number 6 or 8 usually control the whole game with their passing and vision like Iniesta, Pirlo and Xavi.. so every number has its role but the player can choose whatever number he/she likes which aren’t taken
I will add the 6 is habitually used for the defensive midfielders and the 8 is like a mixture of a 6 and a 10
9-is the striker(he scores goal ,sometimes drags players to create space for teammates to score and holds the ball up the pitch for the team)
10-is a creative player who hooks up his teammates to score, he too is an attacker but number 10 is mostly known for their creativety in hooking up plays and doing stuff that may lead to goals. He mostly plays behind the striker to hook him up and combines with the striker and other players to create goals.
You have to be really good to olay these two numbers since they are very difficult positions
Majority the number 9 is the striker up top, the 10 is usually the one in behind the striker as a playmaker but you can see 10s on the wing up there with 7s
#10 is usually worn by the play maker and is often the most technically skill fill player in the team. Can also been seen often being worn by a deep lying forward and for the same reasons. If you are interested in great #10s check out Diego Maradona. Love your videos guys
10s are usually given to the coldest dude on the team. The player with that swag
Y’all gotta do the art of defending! It shows the other side of the game, one of the main reasons soccer is so low scoring, same with goalie saves
When you pass the ball through the legs it’s like dunking on someone in basketball
If u have the 10 on it's because u're the playmaker and one of the best players in the team. Midfielders usually have the 10: they have 99 pass, nice skills in the bag and they lead the team
😂 y’all funny. 10,11,7 mostly nasty, but 10 11 usually most technical
Number 10 is associated with playmaking, usually worn by the most creative won on the team
Ten is usually a center midfielder/playmaker.. Traditionally this is the number for the greats
You guys need to react to The Art of Defending.
And Best goalkeeper saves too
You should react to Kevin De Bruyne - “When football becomes Art”. He’s on of the best players in the world rn!
Y’all should react to Soccer fails as well, they’re funny 😅
10 is the Attacking Center Mid... 9 is the Stirker.... but you can pick what you want. Its an honor to be given 10 to wear.
Y'all should react to one of the numerous "Art of Defending" or "Art of Goalkeeping". They. Are. Wild!
Point is....numbers dont matter anymore, they used to in the past but now any player who is gifted makes any number their own, it all changed about 20 years ago. also different numbers can mean different things for different clubs, depends on who wore which number,
10 is the maestro
Y'all should definitely react to fastest footballers... I think y'all might enjoy that
10 is for playmaker, as such, it's known as 'the classic no.10'
Traditionally speaking…
10 is playmaker/most skillful player playing attacking center mid underneath the 9
9 is goal scorer closest to goal
7&11 are wingers out wide
Next video should b cold goal celebrations
10 was the MASTER CLASS of team, The Maestro... u know? and 9 is a stricker... Here in Brazil, we use like that. Ronaldinho= 10... Ronaldo Fenomeno= 9... u need react to Ronaldo Fenomeno too, and Neymar... and of the new generation is Antony, Vini Jr, Raphinha.... Nice videos, and big respect from Brazil!
Hazard was a menace.
#10 usually best player in the team
you should react to a compilation of passes, the true magic of soccer
Check out any Ronaldinho comp. Any of them! There was a player called Tarabt who didn't hit star status but had tricks galore
Number 10 is a playmaker number
If you want to react to a goalkeeper then definitely watch Manuel Neuer Highlights. A lot of goalies make incredible saves, but the way he basically played a last defender in his 2014 prime when Germany won the world cup against Messi is great to watch!
Y’all gotta listen to Notorious thugs with Biggie and Bone Thugs, make sure to do the LYRICS version
10 is the typical play maker role
Advance Playmaker #10
10 - Maestro, playmaker.
Same as Brady, Rodgers, etc
#10 on the field is basically HIM
The classic numbering of a football team is:
1 - Goalkeeper
2 - Right Defender
3 and 4 - Center Defenders
6 - Left Defender
5 - Defensive midfielder
8 - Point guard midfielder
7 - Offensive wing, but depending on the team's game plan, it can be the offensive midfield.
11 - Offensive winger or second striker (depends on the team's game plan)
9 - Striker
10 - Best player on the team, most of the time he is a midfielder, but there are a lot of forwards too.
It can change depending on the team, but this is the best-known classic scheme.
Numb 10 is usually the playmaker, 9 for striker
You should definetly react to the defenders.
Y’all should react on barcelona tikitaka glory days
guy on the right looking like Gnabry :D
Nice..React to Anthony spinning skills
10 = The most complete and important player.
React to a Eden Hazard skills video. He better than all these players y’all watched
OMG YESS PLEASE
this video too - Nobody Can Stop Eden Hazard In His Prime
10 used to be the magicians of the game they usually hold the ball the most controlling the tempo of the game, playing intricate passes, very good in one on one situation but they are a dying breed of players now
For defenders react to Sergio Ramos "the gladiator" (for me the goat centerback).
Keepers, Neuer (for me the goat goalkeeper), Ter Stegen (beautiful saves), Ederson... But compilations of great goalkeepers saves are fire too.
Yall should react to react why shirt nunbers are a big thing
U need to see king of dribbling jay jay jay okocha
deff do goalies, y'all seem done w the dribbles lmaoo
I wish I could discover fútbol for the first time again hehe
i remember watching my dad play soccer when i was little :) i’d always put on his uniform and pretend to be him 😭😭
Y'all need to react to "Kasi flava skills" and see how us Africans get down.. you almost can't see those skills moves anywhere else in the world.
They call it "The Beautiful Game."
I'm here for it all my brothers, but the soccer, hockey and eminem videos i love the most. Detroit native here what up doe haha but check out cleaning out my closet by em! not the BS clean version. anyways I've been a sub so let me watch this video rigjt quick. keep it up!
Since Pele of Brazil, traditionally the team's best player, usually a midfield playmaker, gets the number 10 jersey... Messi wears 10, so did Maradona, Zidane of France, Ronaldinho of Brazil... etc.
Strikers/ goalscorers usually get the number 7 or 9 jersey... sometimes 8, 11 or 21.
Goalkeepers start at jersey number 1 and goalie substitutes often get 12 or 22.
Defenders get the low numbers 2,3,4,5,6.
'PELE' the football legend made number 10 a favourite striker number.
6.36 hatim ben arfa he is amazing, you should make a video about him, they will love him
Yall gotta check out gareth bale or wayne rooney sprints
When defend becomes art 😳🤦🏽♂️🙏🏼🙏🏼
Yall need to do a recation to Méxican Legend Hugo Sanchez king of bicycle goals. It won't disappoint yall
number 10, 9, 11, 7 these are usually the leading strikers number on a team.
React to If football defense becomes an art
10 is like for the best player in the team, like overall playmaker or best.
Yeah 10 is a striker number, should watch a video on soccer rules and stuff would be dope
Andres Iniesta was the master at dribbling through defenders
10 is either the best player or a very central offensive player for the team
The Messi art
You guys Need to Watch the Beat teamplays „tiki taka“. This is the real beauty of Football.
You guys should watch the goalkeepers one. Is the hardest and most crude position in football, put some respect on our names brothers! It's an art.
One thing about football that Americans seem to miss: When you're playing basketball or american football "dribbling" past someone is easy compared to football. You are doing footwork while holding a ball or dribbling a ball with ur hands, while with football you have to adjust every little move you do with your feet because not only do you have to get past someone, you also have to bring the ball with you and close to your feet at all times.
bro we need the goalkeeper saves. I keep waiting on it 😂 do impossible goalkeeper saves instead of just 1 keeper if you don't want to be bored
Give the man what he wants!
You guys gotta watch one of the dopest defenders ever. Sergio Ramos.. You'll really like him.. He plays hard and doesn't stand down to anyone.
Goals that are scored from a distance are far more beautiful im my opinion
10 was the mighty Pele's number.
React to Matt Le Tissier..that was drible and power shot!!!
10 usually the best player / playmaker
9 striker
7/11 usually sauciest player / best dribbler
