- This is an in-depth overview of all the tool options that you have available inside of Premiere Pro CC 2020. I find that most editors are missing out on key concepts about a lot of these features (Like track targeting and source patching) and I wanted to break it down in an easy to understand way.

This is BEST video I've watched to get a handle on all the basic functions of Adobe Premiere! Many other videos have been too advanced and didn't break things down and simplify for beginners. Great work!
Thank you Chris. These tips are very helpful. I've been using Premiere for a while without any formal training so this video really enlightened me on some very helpful functions. Keep up the great work.

Thank you very much every once, and while I watch this to refresh my mind, it is encyclopedia of the timeline ❤
Thanks bro! actually it's very good basic info for beginner. Appreciated!
very informative, i love it
I've been using Adobe Premiere Pro for several years (on and off) and I never really knew what those audio buttons and Icons meant. As we speak I'm editing a wedding video and I've learn at least 3-4 techniques/shortcuts that would have saved me alot of time during my workflow had I known. This video is definitely a must-save !!
Holy moly, goddamn man, this is the best and most concise tutorial full of info i've ever seen here. This video should have 1m views!
Excellent !!! Thank you

BRILLIANT VIDEO MATE
Hey Dude your videos are really good. I can't believe your amount of views compared to some other muppets on here. You should have way more subscribers.
I've been editing professionally with Premiere Pro for 15 years and I just bought Watchtower due to your video. I'd never heard of it. Brilliant. Thanks a lot.
Thanks for this tutorial sir and going to subscribe your channel Great Work keep it up.

Wonderful Video. I am in college and watched your video and started understanding more of what the terminology is. I also learned from you, how to make more clip layers, You must be an instructor.
Thank you 🙏
Hi there way to go and keep the good job up ..... one thing more i hope that you organize your clip in lists i mean classify them according to the subject
This is a great tutorial, subbed. Quick question from a newbie- how do I set my interface up to look like yours?
hey i'd reccommend linking any video of yours your talking about in the video cards at the party where you mention it.

how do we count the work hours inside a project? Cause i'm tired to track the stopwatch on the phone. Great tips, we thank you. :)
Nice
This is a fantastic video because these tools can be a bit confusing. I do have to suggest one thing though... When you are talking about audio there is music in the background of this video unrelated to the tutorial that can be a bit misleading as to which tracks are playing
you should do more videos often...comparing to other tuts, you explain things more clearer
Jon Gomez working on it :)
I have 50+ tutorials in my online course (in the description) but I’m planning to add more here as well.
Show duplicate frames, through edits, masterclip effect - these features alone are going to halve my editing home holy heckin wow xD thankyou
Hey mate, fantastic videos YOU HAVE IN THIS CHANNEL! great job! Do you have a master class on Premiere Pro 2020...(soon to be 2021 I guess lol!) thank you again!
I do! Check out the description.
Links to the videos he referenced? Need to learn those parts too
Extremely informative - but a QUESTION! I've lost the white 'level' line that would allow me to put keyframe markers on the video clip to either fade in or fade out. It disappeared when I opened Premiere today … nothing changed except I turned off the laptop yesterday. When I turned the laptop on, I lost all my recent files of Premiere projects, and that critical white line. It is still on the audio tracks. Help!
Did you ever find this? Sorry I never saw this comment. You should be able to right click your clip on the timeline and go to the bottom of the menu and do “show clip key frames” and then select opacity.
I have the toggle sync lock on and it doesn't work for me. I googled around but can't get any answers as to why.
Hi Chris I have a premier pro timeline issue, V1 doesnt connect with A1, however both visual and audio are linked? so if i try to move a clip across the timeline the audio does not automatically highlight to move with it, I have to click on it. Do you know what I may have pressed to cause this issue? As I mentioned the content is linked..its just theyre not highlighting together? please help thankyou 👍👍👍
There's a button on your timeline tools (near the top of your timeline) that says "linked selection" it's next to the magnet. You probably turned that off by accident. Once you turn that on, the audio and video will stay linked! Another way to find it is to go up to "Sequence" and then in the drop down menu "linked selection"

Hi sir tanx for best videos
I got a problem today in premiere pro and its that while im scrolling the blue line that you can go anywhere in the time line with it. The audio of clip is not playing frame by frame while video is stoped. and im moving in time line by that blue line . I should play the video in preview then to see what im sayin. Its realy hard to edit like that is there any solution for it ?
Sounds like you have a setting disabled. Go to Premiere Pro Preferences > Audio > play audio while scrubbing. There's a checkbox for it.
@@ChrisOlson2 tnx so much for your attention your awesome
I also find a shortcut and that is shift and s for thus setting. both of them work well
❤❤❤❤
man, how to put/apply our presets in our keyboard shortcut?
like i wanna use my lumetri color preset by pressing num lock 1, how? wait for your respon thanks
Have to use an external plugin like Excalibur. But even that has some limitations
@@ChrisOlson2 thanks for the answer man..
When I hold alt and zoom in it ends up not showing my items in my timeline moving when I drag them then when I let go it shows it? It’s a really annoying bug and I would like to know if there’s a fix, I also got a bug where it won’t lock onto things such as markers and other clips instead it slider right past, please reply with any help you can asap, appreciate the help. - Yozy
I've experienced this a few times but I can't remember what I did to fix it. May have just been a reboot. What version of PR?

Ha I have some problem can you help me
Moving and inserting a clip in premier oro
u earn your sunscribe
Where can I find the video for keyframing?
That is inside my online course that you can find in the description.
Great stuff, Chris. We should do some work together.
Great video - but you forgot all the tools in the toolbox ???
Nice but u didn't explain about Master Track
watched the whole video in hopes of figuring out how to permanently adjust the timeline slider to be automatically adjusted for the clip loaded on it, to no avail. :(
Your course link doesn’t work for me.
Ah sorry! Domain was going through a renewal phase. It should be live soon. It’s courses.premiereproguru.com
It should be live now.
@@ChrisOlson2 Got it, thanks.
