Farewell Young Turks...

- Like many I've grown increasingly tired of The Young Turks and a couple of their associated channels, after initially being a huge fan of the network. Here I share some brief thoughts on why I'm no longer wasting my time with them, and also why I think they've lost their way.

I think you're referring to the dialogue you had with me on that Trevor Freeman video and yes I'm subscribed to you now. Glad to find more optimistic MGTOW channels like yours from time to time.

How they acted during the last election really turned me off watching them anymore!
Do you still plan on making vids?
I found them to be very smug and also unrealistic at times, stopped watching them a couple of years ago.
+makemarker I guess it took me a lot longer to realise that, I can't stress how much they annoy me these days.
Simply Strength don't worry, it used to take me years to get over some things too but we grow :-P
I was subbed for 4 years. Unsubbed for the same reasons. I really used to respect Cenk. Never liked Ana. They used to be very sensible progressives. Now they're too leftie for me. And the way they try to smear anyone with a different opinion. It's like they're the progressive version of Fox News.
+TOTCD Exactly. They smear anybody with a contrasting viewpoint, however the Sam Harris stuff just went too far. I quite liked Ana in the beginning but she's different now in some way, I think maybe she's more militant in putting her views across? That went too far with stuff like 'The Point' where she just gets her boyfriend and people that generally agree with her to talk about insignificant BS.
Simply Strength Well the Sam Harris one received the most backlash. From the interview where Cenk was going ballistic. And the dislike bar with the other vids. But it was inevitable. If you look at their wishlist back in 2008. They accomplished most of it by far. Instead of being happy with what they accomplished. They keep going more and more to the left. And they did the same thing as right-wingers. Created an echo chamber for themselves. I used to like Ana way back. But but she always came off as obnoxious. But it goes way further for me. They also do a lot of race baiting. The gun issue is not reported right. I used to be centre left in my late teens early 20's. Now I'm centre right. They used to be the hope for young people in the West. Now they became everything they fought against lol.
+TOTCD I completely forgot Cenk vs Karen Straughan - he behaved like a child having a tantrum. I agree that they've become the very thing they were preaching against.
Simply Strength
This is unrelated but. How do you feel about all the MGTOWs leaving the community? And if you received threats from people are you prepared to deal with it?
+TOTCD I wasn't aware that there were too many, only TruthoverEverything and Dark Knight come to mind at the moment. I'm sorry they're gone because they were massively influential on me but I'm sure they had valid reasons. What kind of threats might materialise?
You should check out the rubin report, it's really good, and he gets a lot of various opinions on from different sides of the scope.
The only thing I watch is 'Nerd Alert' otherwise it's a load of social justice bollocks.
