- This video will show you another way to charge your PS4 controller.
This board allows the controller to be charged using the EXT port. The KiCAD files and gerbers are available at the Github link below. You can find more information about the board on our blog: qubitsandbytes.co.uk/dualshoc...
Github: github.com/carlansell94/ds4-e...
We may have this board for sale on Kofi, check out our page here: ko-fi.com/qubitstech - Hry
I've first ever seen a person using ext port
Do you plan on selling these with a
usb-c port pre-soldered? I’d be interested in ordering a couple.
I'd consider it, though it would be next month at the earliest as the boards take a while to get here. Drop me a message through my contact form (qubitsandbytes.co.uk/about) if you want to discuss further.
Can u do a video on a xbox controller how to fix the"a" botton mine is loose and don't know how to fix it
Hi, unfortunately I don't have an Xbox controller with this issue, so I can't do a video on it. Maybe post a video of your issue, you might get comments that help.
I would guess that either your button membrane, or the button itself, needs to be replaced.
How do I buy one I want it bad
I got an problem with my scuf , it dosnt Charge and also it goes off when i plug in my cable, does this what u Show there is able to Connect my controller to ps4 ? 2:50 2:50
Hi, unfortunately scuf controllers don't have this EXT port. I don't know of any other way to get power to a scuf controller aside from the charging port. You'll have to see if you can replace the port (or find someone to do it for you).
Aww man I already did the usb-c mod and I grinded away too much plastic. Now there is a gap and the usb-c board doesn’t stay in place well. 😣
Man I know this is temporary because you can just switch out the micro usb chargeing to a new one
You could try using some plastic putty to fill the gap around the port, if you're careful you could end up with a fairly clean result.
I've been tempted to try the internal mod myself, but cutting the case puts me off.
I want that
How do I buy one
Amazon
I can sell 1
What if controller won't take a charge?
Hi, it depends why the controller wont charge. If it's a micro USB connection issue, or if one input of the PMIC is dead, this board will allow the controller to charge. If the battery is totally dead, a new battery will fix it. Otherwise, there's a board fault, and you'd probably need a replacement.
is there 1 for ps5?
Sadly not, there's no EXT port on the PS5 controller
Can i still get this?
Hi, I have one for sale on ebay here: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/266493183039
I've also opened a store on Kofi, this board will be available on there soon: ko-fi.com/qubitstech
Wait you don’t sell them then how tf are we supposed to buy this
The board design is available at the Github link in the description. You can order the boards through a service such as OSH Park. I'm planning to sell them pre-assembled, but I don't currently have any available.
@@qubitstech lol oh is this link even legit bruh I don’t like scams but honestly nvm I bought a other controller anyway lol
Where can I get one of these?
Hi, I don't currently sell them but I'm looking into it. Drop me a message through my contact form (qubitsandbytes.co.uk/about) if you want to discuss further.
مفهمت والو ياخو
OMG i love that i want one
I have one on ebay if you're interested, check the pinned comment :)
Its sold out :(
More are on the way, should be back in stock soon :)
Wtf is that ext port anyway.
It's used for charging docks, and I believe some accessories like keyboards or headsets. Never used it myself though, aside from this charging board.
I now have these for sale: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/266250965808
Drop me a message if you'd be interested in more than one.
Why don’t they just make wired ext connections? Fuck man
The port is more aimed at accessories, like charging docks, so I guess they never intended for you to use it with a cable.
It would have been handy, though.
Click bait
Hardly, it's exactly what the title says it is
