In an earlier video you mentioned that bomber and transport pilots were traditionally at the bottom of their class. My question is where were people who went on to be instructor pilots in the class rankings normally? I knew some people who were flew during WW2 and became instructor pilots here in the CONUS. Thanks...WA5CVI
Instructor pilots were ranked at or near the top of the class. The key, and what I got wrong because the training command at the time could select who they wanted as instructors, was to do well enough to get a fighter, but not be liked enough to be selected as an instructor. KC0ZN
Ron, why on earth a twin? Do you do long ranging missions? I flew with a captain recently who bought a Baron 55 just to fart around in... Thats why they make cubs! Me personally, I get my fix at work and have zero desire for GA flying.
GA flying has its own special aspects that are appealing. I got a twin, a 310 for short range cross countries that the airlines did not cover. If I had a T-38 and could afford to fly it, I would probably do that. Although T-38s do not do well on short grass strips.
The 310 looks superb, inside and out-the man-cave/hanger likewise!
Thanks!
Congrats on finding your orifice!!!
Thank you! I think🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Beautiful 310 you have there. Hope it is ready to fly soon.
I hope so too
Why do you want an alternate static source? Do you miss listening to Dick Biondi on WLS Chicago or WOWO in Ft Wayne
It may be related to the ham radio stuff... ham is a terrible thing to make a radio out of.
@@moi01887 its a depressive atmosphere with all the call sighs
Stealth mode! Dark sunglasses! Does this mean you’ve started research for the 727 D.B. Cooper video?
A successful quest. Well done

You are disguised as me. Except your aviators, Puma athletic shirt and man cave are cooler.
Is that quest for the Alternate Static Source or for the Switch for the alternate static source?
Both, they are together.
