    WHAT WE LOVED ABOUT MILAN
The style of Milan and the people who live there. Everything about this city exudes creativity and beauty - you cant help being inspired by what you have seen.
The city is quite small so you can walk around easily allowing you to see and experience day to day life of Milan.
Navigli Canal and Brera District were our favourites
The Fiat 500 tour of the city - a great intro to Milan
    THE LITTLE SURPRISES ABOUT MILAN
Although there are some expensive places, you can eat and drink quite cheaply in Milan.
The transport systems worked really well.
WHAT WE RECOMMEND YOU DO BEFORE YOUR VISIT
Have a rough plan of what you would like to see and do as time flies when you are there for a short stay.
Book entry to the popular places of interest to avoid disappointment and having to queue.
Choose off peak times as the weather is better for exploring and there are less crowds.
Leave time to do nothing and relax as that’s the time when spontaneous things will happen which are often just as important as the planned events.
PLACES WE WILL VISIT IN MILAN NEXT TIME
Visit Parco Sempione - the largest green space in central Milan.
Teatro alla Scala (La Scala Theatre) to see a production
    Prada Museum
Don't forget that Milan is hosting the Winter Olympics in February 2026.
