And these two are quotes from Lindsey. The last one is a post...
"This song was on my album as an instrumental song, but I always knew it was really special," shares Stirling. "I am so grateful for Mako for the lyrics he wrote to 'Lose You Now' because he perfectly captured the feelings I'd never been able to put into words. I actually balled like a baby the first time I heard his version. I felt like my father and best friend (both of whom have passed away) were giving me a big warm hug. Creating this song and the music video has brought me a sense of peace. The video is full of special memories and signs that represent the people I've lost. I used to have cereal picnics with my dad. Whenever I see a monarch butterfly, I feel like my friend Gavi is checking in on me. The little fox stuffed animal represents my baby niece, who passed away this summer. These little Easter eggs and many more make this video so special to me. Now, as we release it, I hope to share that hug and healing with the world. We can all use it right now."
    Lindsey
“For everyone saying that I've lost who I am as an artist and you miss the old lindsey...just because I sang two songs on a Christmas album and worked really hard to learn some point ballet, doesn't mean I've lost my center. Aside from this and mr. grinch, all my other videos this year have been full instrumental, violin heavy songs and the videos were artistic metaphors with greater meaning... aka, the kind of content I am known for. I put a lot of time thought into making my art entertaining, artistic, and or meaningful. But Sometimes I enjoy trying new things. I strive to keep my content full of variety so I like to try new things. I also seek to uplift, and I really try to be a good role model. Just because I look pretty and dare I say, sexy in a video doesn't mean that I am a "wannabe" "Barbie" "pop star" that has lost her sense of value. I draw the lines that I think are appropriate for me and it is up to you to draw the lines that are appropriate for you. Don't judge me because my line is different than yours. It is never our place to judge others. The way we view others is actually more of a reflection of how we feel about ourselves.”

On 4-23-14, Lindsey uploaded a music video called Shatter Me. About two weeks later (16 days), she uploaded a music video called Child Of Light. The song Child Of Light was an instrumental, orchestral version of Shatter Me. Lindsey made this song/video to promote The Child Of Light PC game by Ubisoft.

Actually, both were separate. NASA had The Apollo Missions decades before. And Artemis was Apollo's sister.
Lindsey named her song and album Artemis for what Lindsey was going through. She did Artemis because of her connection with the moon. Lindsey's best friend and keyboardist, Gavi died on 11-21-15. After her dad died 1 year, 2 months, and 3 days later (1-24-17), Lindsey fell into a deep depression. She was starting to accept that her current state was the "New Lindsey". About 2 years later, she started to come out of it and she realized that it was just a phase, like our moon. Lindsey wasn't "gone". She was just covered in shadow. Like our moon.
Now, she uses this story to help others see that we all can be at our full light. Even at our darkest times, we all can shine brightly again...eventually. Don't let temporary shadows (clouds) keep your light hidden.
The one with the horns is Artemis, the goddess. She created a human representation of herself named Artemis. Later, this Artemis found other women skilled in battle and dance. (Till The Light Goes Out).
In the far distant future, this Artemis' descendant was also named Artemis (The red-haired girl in The Upside.)

The thing is that there is a high possibility that TikToks will be plentiful. She is starting to work on her new album now. This means that there is a strong possibility that she won't be able to make too many new music videos until her new album...which will take a while. She wants to concentrate on new music for her album, not various music for various videos. And it's a lot easier and faster to just make TikToks until her new album. That's why I have a CZcams Playlist (TLGRANT - LINDSEY STIRLING) of all 131 music videos of hers and another Playlist (TLGRANT - LS+) of 1300+ misc. videos...interviews, fan videos, Behind The Scenes, other performances, etc. I have plenty of Lindsey material to keep me occupied until her album.

The three videos can be connected. The Upside, Artemis, and Till The Light Goes Out.
In a forgotten time, we see two inhabitants of a rag-tag group of individuals starting their ascent to the Upside. The one, Artemis, is a beautiful, young, and strong woman who has enlisted the help of her friend Calix. Calix knows the way since he has been to the Upside before. Artemis had a deep driven desire to see the Upside for herself. Both of them climbed and upon reaching the Upside, Artemis saw the moon. As she awed the beauty of the moon, she felt a strong connection to it. While they were there, they saw two dark figures approach. They expelled darkness, a very dark smokey cloud, from their hands to try to engulf Artemis and Calix. First Calix was knocked down by it, and as the other dark figure shot his darkness at Artemis, she used the Light from her heart to form a barrier to protect her. She didn’t fully understand but she just knew that the Light saved her. As the two dark figures disappear, a dark-haired woman turns and walks away.
Later, Artemis is sitting in a hallway against the wall. She pulled the Light from her heart and held it. As she held it, she looked at it and felt a love and a need for it. Then she put it back in her heart. All of a sudden, Nyx appears...the dark-haired woman from earlier. Nyx shoots her darkness at Artemis and it starts to choke her but Artemis is able to throw it back at Nyx. However, Artemis starts walking to Nyx as if being drawn to her. Nyx then grabs her hand and the darkness starts going to Artemis. Nyx lets go and as the darkness is working through her, even more darkness swirls around and tries to engulf Artemis. But then Artemis regains her senses and control and using the Light as a barrier again dissipates the surrounding darkness. Artemis stands up holding a Bow of Light and just looks at Nyx. Before Nyx leaves, she looks at Artemis and thinks, “Fine, I’ll just eradicate you by destroying your ancestors.” Then Nyx leaves, and Artemis goes back to the camp.
Many, many generations before, there was a young woman running through the forest. As she was running, evading the creatures, and searching for shelter, she had not known her part in destiny. Later, she comes to find out that she was created by Artemis and given the same name. She was very skilled in song and dance, and she was very proficient in the bow...and the violin. Eventually, she came across other skilled women warriors which were excellent at dancing.
One day, as they were dancing inside their cave, they heard something strike outside the cave. They all went to see. Artemis picked up the odd-shaped arrow and held it. It turned into a cloud of darkness which quickly dissipated. Then they saw a wave of dark clouds coming over the surrounding mountains. Undaunted, they went inside the cave and gathered weapons to prepare for a battle. They went outside and waited. Three mighty and fierce warriors appeared followed by Nyx. Artemis and her four warriors ran to them to fight. As the battle raged, Nyx took out one of Artemis’s girls with the darkness she shot out. Then Artemis shot an arrow but Nyx deflected it. Then Nyx shot her darkness at Artemis, knocking her down. When Artemis came to, she saw the battle and then grabbed a nearby arrow. Imbuing it with the Light, she shot it at Nyx. Nyx started to crack with light and then turned into a pillar of light and dark clouds that shot up into the clouds. Then the darkness that came over the mountains before, receded back over the mountains in the same way. Artemis had won this battle that day.
Since evil doesn’t die, will Nyx return or will it take a different form? But from now on...Artemis will remain and persevere, forever...til the light goes out.

    How Lindsey started...
When Lindsey was about 5 years old, her father would take Her family (mom and 2 sisters) to free orchestral concerts in the city. Lindsey said that the first-chair violinist always tuned the orchestra and got the big solos. She saw that as being the Star of the show. Lindsey would beg her parents for violin and dance lessons. They could not afford both, so after going to one class each, she decided on the violin. And since age 6 (1992), she has been violining to this day, (30 years). She was trained in Classic Violin for the first 12 years. Then one day in High School, she needed money for college, so she entered the Arizona Junior Miss Pageant. She noticed that around 6 other violinists were competing. She wanted to win, so she added dance to her playing. She wanted to entertain and perform, not just impress everyone.
    czcams.com/video/SIp_Q4DQ8uU/video.html
Of course, she won. After that, she decided to play the music she likes. She started adding hip-hop, then EDM, then dubstep. She has always practiced her violining...half an hour to an hour, 6 days a week. After she would practice, she would reward herself by playing something she wanted. She has said the key is perseverance.
Actually, she learned how to dance through CZcams videos. Growing up, Lindsey and her 2 sisters would dance to the Classical records their parents would play. Lindsey has always loved to dance. Lindsey was on Dancing With The Stars and Dance Showdown. And Lindsey has had about a week of Tap and a week of Ballet. Lindsey also learned a little from friends and choreographers. Lindsey was born to dance.

I have a very bad memory so I take a lot of notes. Here are some...
Actually, Lindsey's globe was her anorexia and depression and how she was supposed to stay. The witch was Satan (unknown to Lindsey) trying to make Lindsey go back to her anorexia and depression and her old life. Luckily, Lost Girls Find A Way. And now, Lindsey can help others to realize that there is hope beyond their "globes".
Lindsey's videos have always been personal to her. This video represents an earlier part of Lindsey's life. You can tell by the negative symbols in it. The fawn is Lindsey. And Lindsey was in a very negative part of her life. Winter time, the solar eclipse, cold, the Ice Storm (tornado), and evil elements (wolves) trying to get her. In 2015, God intervened and sent down lightning (Tim Grant) to create a fire to save the fawn (Lindsey). I am that lightning...I am Lindsey's Boyfriend.

    1) She NEVER prerecords her violining.
    2) She has violined for 31 years. She added dancing 20.5 years ago. She's a Professional. Google it.
    3) They say 10,000 hrs, and you're an expert. Lindsey has 30,000 hrs now.
    4) 13.9 million subs, 4.5 billion views, 131 music videos, hundreds of misc. videos, 25+ violins she owns, 6 major albums (110 songs), EVERY concert - SOLD OUT!
    5) She was kicked off America's Got Talent. She tried doing too much too soon. They told her that she wasn't good enough. After that, she decided to make every concert and video, and performance into a practice session. She also added the word 'YET'. She never wanted anyone to say those words to her again. She wasn't good enough, yet. Now, she is!
    6) She came in second on Dance Showdown and Dancing With The Stars.
    7) She has said that she tried to fake it once, and it just looked ridiculous.
    8) Would you buy a ticket to a fake show?
    9) Milli Vanilli was a singing duo in the 80s. They were caught lip-syncing. Needless to say, they didn't last too long.

Here is how Lindsey and I started...
I became a True Christian in 1988. I saw my first Lindsey video (Zelda Medley) on 9-4-15.
About 7 years ago, The Lord Jesus blessed me even beyond my belief. 1) HE totally and completely took away some personal issues/problems. 2) HE severely increased my intelligence. I was so stupid growing up. Let me misquote from Dr. Who. “Close your eyes and picture the stupidest thing in the whole universe. Can you picture it? Good. Now forget it because he’s typing this post now.” 3) HE gave me my One and Only Lifelong Dream. I can now honestly say that I’m the happiest guy in the whole universe. 😂 And because of these three - I will always thank and love The Lord!
#3 above is the focal point. What if Yahweh called me to do something? Would I not have certain insights from God? Would I not have some insider information? God messed up my whole life so I could be at the right place at the right time to help a very special woman - Lindsey Stirling. God wanted Lindsey to be a Christian. AND He wanted me to save her life. And after I did, she and I fell in love. And I have been with her ever since. Thank God! 😂

Sorry guy, but do you know how many want Lindsey to teach them, party with them, perform with or for them, and hang out with them? Literally, millions. There are so many in line before you. And she's not allowed to hang out with strangers, for safety reasons.
And I normally say this if they want to get closer to Lindsey...
Sorry guy, God already gave Lindsey to me. Thank God! 😂

  • @timgrant1219

Yes, she knew about CZcams. But, back then, Lindsey just thought it was a place for cute little videos. As she put it, "dog and cat videos". She didn't learn about CZcams until Devin told her all about CZcams. After he did, THEN it clicked in her head, "Hey, I don't need record labels or managers. I'll just make and put all my music on CZcams." "I don't need "The Industry" "I'll be my own boss." "I'll do MY music the way I want, HOW I want. WHEN I want."
    THEN "The Industry”, noticed her.
Of course, she knew about AGT. She would watch people become BIG stars and everyone (The Industry) wanted them. And before AGT and CZcams, Lindsey was trying to get into "The Industry", but she couldn't. They didn't want her. Then she thought, "I'll just get on AGT and I'll be all set." An easy path to stardom. The problem was they wanted Lindsey to really spice things up. Unfortunately, she did too much, too soon. She wasn't ready to do all that she showed them. Her last performance for them was NOT her best. They were RIGHT. But they were really mean about it. That's why she harbors no ill will towards them. Lindsey knows and admits it was not her best. She decided 2 things at that time -- 1) to add the word, "YET" to what they said. 2) to work a lot more at it. She turned every show and performance into a practice session. They say that to be an expert at something, you need 10,000 hours at it. Lindsey has 30,000 hours now.
Actually, it's kinda funny. AGT doesn't normally tell people to "spice things up." It's like God wanted her to lose. I can see that. Lindsey would not have been on CZcams...and I would not have known Lindsey. God just made it easier for Him to give me Lindsey. Thank God! 😂

  • @timgrant1219
    @timgrant1219 Před rokem +1

Lindsey always plays live. She has said that she tried "faking" it once and it just looked ridiculous. Because it is way too hard to sync the violin playing to the music. And it looks way too obvious. Lindsey has been playing the violin for 30 years and she added dancing 18 years ago. They say to be an expert at something, you need 10,000 hours. Lindsey has 30,000 hours. Every concert and show has been SOLD-OUT. Would you buy a ticket to a "fake" show? Lindsey has 13.5 million subs, 3.5 billion views, 136 music videos, hundreds of misc. videos, 6 full albums, 24 violins, and has toured the world several times.
Lindsey is a Professional. She doesn't need to fake it. And this is how she usually does her videos...
First, she travels to the location with several cameras. Then she records her song as she plays it with her many cameras. Then she takes all the footage home and edits the best parts together. She really loves to edit all her videos. The editing program, Avid+, allows her to add any background voices and accompanying music to the videos and do some mixing as needed. And it allows her to tweak any visuals she wants. Then with the final video, she uploads it right then and there, usually within a day or two. See? No fuss, no muss. No wasting time, effort, or money running back and forth to a studio. That's how smart she is. She is a Professional. The only time she uses the studio is to record her albums. So, when you do a vine, a vlog, a tweet, or a TikTok, you mute the sound, run to a studio then add the sound? You do know that some cameras have mics, don't you? Why not do things right the first time? So...after each concert, she takes everyone's camera and cell phone to the studio and adds the sound? Come on guy, you're smarter than that. Or do you think that she can only be recorded on stage? Is she really that scared of the outdoors?
Don't tell me - That's not the way The Industry does it.
When Lindsey started, "The Industry" didn't want her. Every manager and record label didn’t want her and didn't know how to classify her and where to put her. Even the judges on America's Got Talent said that what she did was "Unmarketable". Then she found Devin Supertramp and he became her cinematographer. And he taught her about CZcams. She was so happy. She could do her music HER WAY. She didn't have people telling her how to dress, where to go, what songs to do, how to do her music, when to do the songs, etc. Lindsey was the boss. No one told her that she wasn't doing her videos right because "The Industry" wasn't around. It didn't want anything to do with her. Lindsey also learned not to rely on studios too much. She couldn't afford them. She had to barter with them saying that if they worked with her then she would let them record her playing their songs. Lindsey was literally "the struggling artist".

Now, do you want proof? Next time you are playing, lean a little. Not so you fall over. Next, as you are playing, stand up and lift your leg and put your foot on a book. Then try putting your foot on a chair as you are playing. Then put it back down. Did it mess up your playing? Did it ruin your song? How many times of practicing would you have to do, before it becomes too easy? Try it and see. Try other moves too. Just don’t hurt yourself. It’s ok if you don’t want to or if it’s not for you. It’s only an option. Either way…Good Luck.
