It's great being a "Christian", you can spend the whole day lying your head off then go to the nearest church and say a few prayers and you are in the clear!

could someone do a tally chart of how many times this thing says "my understanding". This is standard management speak for either I don't know or I don't want to admit I know. Classic obfiscation

Vennell would have undertaken dozens of practice training cross examinations with her lawyers in preparation to this inquiry to iron out how to present herself and deflect the accusations. She knows that it's not working as she is constantly breaking down in tears, whilst we can see that she was either asleep at the wheel or she is lying about how she covered up things up during her time in charge of the Post Office!
Either one, its obvious to see that her priority was always to look after herself, her reputation, her performance bonuses & pension top ups as she happily sat back and watched people lose their livelihoods whilst some of them lost their lives.
She now needs to be investigated by the Police on criminal charges and if/ when she is found guilty ... she needs to be thrown into prison. Every penny that she has taken in bonuses must be paid back in full and with interest as she has fraudulently stolen them from the Post Office/ British Tax Payers!

More over how on earth did someone so unqualified get the job she ended up having? Looks like it's not what you know it's who you know! As anyone who has run a business knows, this is the worst way to employ people. I wouldn't let her run a post office.

It seems to me that the Post Office, i.e. she, knew that the compenstaion payable would bankrupt the P O. Knowing about that liability she continued to trade, and was therefore guilty of insolvent trading - Lock her up
