It is funny, almost ridiculous that Noel came in with such a masterpiece so "late" in his career.
Now I will admit this is highly subjective as all opinions are... but that fact that this song landed as I turned 40 and I started contemplating my mortality and the last half of my life was just serendipity perfection. The lyrics the title, the feel... it all makes thinking about the dying of one's light... perfect...
