Who's up there with him? british songwriters? I'd stick Paul Draper up close to him. Noel is more professional than the others, more of a musicians musician if you get me.
Noel hasn't lost it. The voice isn't any different from the recorded tunes, if not better.

Was in Dallas too and I can say he sounded amazing. Can't ever see Oasis getting back together. He has it too good now. He's totally loose on stage.

Me and my brother where sanding outside this gig since we heard he opening chord to 'Do the Damage' and we realised this is where the secret location gig was (We where crossing the road to a restaurant and heard it)
My First Noel Gallagher gig and i was outside with closed doors and couldn't see Noel for most.
Imagine that a 16 year old and a 12 year old outside in london our own, but who cares, music makes people stand outside to listen to their idol.

I saw Oasis at Slane Castle in 2008 (2009?) with about 80k other people. They were amazing. Must have been one of their last gigs together

It's a fabulous thing to notice that this is a great great set list, plenty of Noel solo work, with just one Oasis classic. That is just an indication of how Noel's solo career stands by itself in such a good quality.
Lets face it, Oasis was pretty much Noel's solo work anyway.
If Oasis gets back together, they're going to make one of the best albums ever. Both Noel and Liam are on fire.
I agree. Liam's songwriting has sharpened fantastically and Noel's voice keeps improving.

When Oasis was called The Rain, they had original songs that Noel didn't write and they weren't bad. But Noel is the true genius behind Oasis and Liam's voice was and still is iconic. Listen to Listen Up live from Jones Beach, Long Island. If only he kept his raw mid-90s voice.

This is arguably one of Noel's best sets. And it also pretty much says oasis are done. He doesn't need them.

I can't think of anyone else who still writes songs like this. If his game was an A+ in 94-95, it's still at least a A-. So god damn consistent!!

Dream on is such an under rated tune, literally one of my favourite tracks from his solo career
Wow. Haven't been stirred by a performance this much in a long time. Always been a big Noel fan. Oasis ruled the world when they unleashed their sound upon the world. Now this. Noel's really found his voice. Sounds better than ever and love watching him play guitar. It hangs on him like it's the reason it was invented. And that's taking the quality of the songs for granted. I watch this guy and think if anyone ever sold their soul for the talent here it is... did I mention I'm a big fan.
*Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds one of the best bands of all time, I saw them opening the Joshua Tree of U2 in Mexico and they are really good, Noel Gallagher great musician, great songwriter, great voice, great arrangements, your backing vocals are just amaizing. the sound of the brass section is awesome. I miss this Noel; the quality of songs in this Setlist proves his solo career far greater than Liam’s. Makes it more remarkable how Liam smashed 2019 far more than Noel did

Never heard much of Noel Gallagher's high flying birds until now. Impressed.
Noel may look like an angry insurance officer but he sounds like a real rockstar...and I say it being a Beatles fan.
Only Noel spends the time in between songs dissing people! What a fucking legend!

People who give Noel hate and say that Liam is the truly talented one are just crazy. Liam's voice is good for edgy rock n roll songs, like if noel sang cigarettes and alcohol for example then it wouldn't be as good of a song. but Noel's voice is just wonderful, it's perfect for songs like don't look back in anger and the masterplan which are amazing songs, and i think that songs like wonder wall and stop crying your heart out would be better if noel sang them. also he's the true mastermind behind oasis and i think he gets less credit than he deserves. copy and paste this message on noel related videos if you agree.

For years and years I've listened to Oasis off the cuff, on the radio, now and again on itunes, more than a while singing(learing/shouting) Wonderwall-(very drunk)
Listened to Noel on Talksport this week, understood how much of a legend he is. His interview/show introduced with 'Some might say' after an ad break. Later on he said he thought it was his favourite song at the moment, when asked that question.
So went and listened to 'Some might Say!' Hey, Wow, good song. Listen to the Mark Lawson interview. Wow, what a guy. Ended up stopping every 2mins to catch up on wiki, google, youtube to understand what they were saying.
But yeah - interview with Mark Lawson, "was it easier, when being a solo performer?" -
"it's easier than I thought it would be. I really thought I would be a grumpy old man about it. But I really feel controlled and relaxed about it, because if I mess up I'm only mess up - when you're in Oasis, your sort of letting everyone else down."
As others have said, legend as a man, and a musician.

I live in America and I like Noel and his band. But not the same for Liam. Noel's an authentic musician with lots of talents. Absolute Radio. I like how Noel relates to audience. The video quality is excellent.
