  • Tour this beautiful villa For Sale in the hills of Tuscany overlooking
    Florence (Firenze). This luxury Italian Villa For Sale sits on a hill on the south side of Florence of Chianti Fiorentino near Impruneta. The Villa dates back to the 12th century and was originally a watchtower and fort. Changes were made in the Renaissance period when it became a hunting lodge. The Villa was restored to it's present condition in the late 80's early 90's using the style and inspiration of that period.
    My name is Nick Ferrand and these are my One Take Italian Property Tours. This Italian Villa in Tuscany is totally unique, combined early Italian
    architecture, renaissance remodelling and 20th century designed restoration. I love it! Huge rooms, original wooden panelled ceilings, beautiful eclectic mixed of post-modernist furniture, with a splash of antiquities and oozing with style. I'm looking forward to receiving your comment. Please don't forget to subscribe and hit the buttons. Have a great weekend.
    This absolutely fabulous Italian Property has four bedrooms and five
    bathrooms in the main house, a gorgeous studio/office on the top of the
    classic Italian tower with panoramic views of the Chianti hills and
    Florence. Professional kitchen with all the equipment fit for a banquet and
    an independent one bedroom annex over two floors.
    On the lower ground level there's the original 16th century, or earlier,
    cantinas, vaulted rooms and tech room. Externally the land has mature trees, lush vegetation, approximately 130 olive trees and a private road dating back to 800AD.
    If you are looking for a Italian Villa in Tuscany which feels open and
    modern but still retains a lot of its originality, done in a up-to-date
    style and close to one of the most beautiful cities in the world, then this
    Italian Abode might be it!
    Please note there is presently no swimming pool.

    My god! That is one of the most fantastic villas I have ever seen. I love what those designers you mentioned, Senior what's their names lol,
    Did with the interior.
    I have never seen pine trees like that. They looked like giant dandelion puff balls.
    The exterior and the cantina are so rustic to contrast with the 20th century interiors.
    If I had the money I'd buy it just based on your excellent video sir!

    Happy Saturday! I expected to see a leprechaun jump out of a closet. To me, as usual, I vision a boutique inn with the killer cantina dining room/bar and outdoor dining terrace. Plenty of bedrooms with bathrooms and even the ability to have small conference rooms for a chic business meeting retreat. Andy Warhol and Peter Max mentioned in the same video definitely sets the decor tone, giving charming a rest. As much as I love charming and look forward to its return. What I could make in that kitchen…….wow. Thank you! Great property.

    Hello Nick, I want to thank you for your lovely videos and home tours, as a lover of history, I appreciate the time you take to point out historical details to a property and being a lover of trees and landscapes, I have found a kindred soul. I love your use of superlatives, and your sense of humour warms the heart. Keep up the good work, be your delightful, expressive self. Please do not change. We love you as you are. Good travels, Anita

    My favourite part was the cantina (I'd live in there)! and when you mentioned it had been built in the 11th century my heart sank to think what they'd done upstairs. The design and decor is quite polarising. It felt like too much of a nod to industrial commercial and not a home for living, in my view. But someone's going to love it. Such diversity. I guess I must be more of a traditionalist than I thought when it comes to Italian properties. But your work is always appreciated Nick. You are charming!

    As a designer I would have reissued some of the rooms as proper bedrooms and such. To many offices and not enough real living spaces to show the possibilities. Also I have issues with all the staircases. The one in the entry should be a true straight stairs for ease of moving furniture upstairs. The courtyard should have furniture in it also. It is clear these people do not spend any time in the gardens. Needs a major clean up and planting. I also don't like the kitchen so far away from the living room. Is it worth 2.6 euros? I'm not sure.

    I see some potential with this property. Definitely not my style inside. Kitchen would need to be brought up. Too many small rooms. Would open up some walls. Also update the bathrooms and change the interior looks to a more traditional Tuscan style. I realize the original design was a modern architectural look but unfortunately modern "styles" soon become unmodern. Traditional is timeless. The property itself does have great potential for the right buyer. BTW - that old cellar that you walked through was awesome - a potential wine cellar.

    Omg how did I miss this one?! FANTASTIC.
    Yes I'm a big Sostass and Memphis fan and It's clear from all tge italian design classics everywhere so are the owners. This is the perfect peaceful space for any real artlover. As a matter of fact I could imagine this bought by an art foundation, it would accomodate sculpture, paintings and multimedia pieces, offices and flexible reception areas, café offering light lunch and wine with a spectacular view of Florence and the hills, managers flat and artist residence workshop plus guestrooms.
    Virtuallt no changes needed at all to convert this into an epic cuktural hub spitting distance from Florence. Oh gee, If that as where 26 again and fiercely resourceful!
    I usually don't like spiral staircases at all, but these are everything,
    Madon'! (excuse my Napolitano)
    Living there? Yeah that's gotta be kinda nice. Not too shabby indeed.
    Thanks for sharing this really unique piece of modern art of ancient meets modern Italy.

    Finally, a house where I can put my Jean-Michael Basquiat collection, wait I don't have a JMB collection, hmm perhaps some Art Deco, nope, I know I do have some bronze bookends, unfortunately they are rather small. Thanks for describing the view from the not 70's windows, too bad we didn't get to see it. No expense spared on the servant's quarters, pallet gates and table. Loved the Orientals and the horse/wine cellar. Interesting 2 hectares and no pool. Hey Nick, have you ever visited Fiesole, fantastic Etruscan (later Roman) town with an amphitheater where on a good day you will be the only one sitting on the ancient seats. If you climb the steep path to the erstwhile monastery, you have an incredible vista of Florence, great after the sun sets too!

    Charming ! Right, all modern, till you look up…..locking rooms with keys, steel, Hmmmmm. Kitchen is great!, old section very interesting. Great, however, my preference, is the old style, rock, wood, plaster, etc. . Thank you Nick, very interesting place.

    Each week another *planet - this one, *ancient AND '80's themed , with its own catacombe (lol) ! Agree - I.Q. all around high - handsome, dignified, dynamic place. -Would be just as fascinating (although I know impossible) to get a post script video as to who purchases, ultimately, and how they honor the components and tenor, or not. Nick, these places *breathe, and would be worthy of full script as to their destinies. Great thanks, until next trip through Italian cosmos.

    Love he mix of old + modern, I’m not so sure about those spiral stairs. I could see myself having an accident after a few glasses of wine, haha. It def needs alittle updates in some areas, but love the location & views! Thx for sharing Nick! Cheers Kirk

    This has to be one of the quirkier layouts of the videos I've watched so far, but I loved the spiral staircases, the balcony in the bedroom, the tower, and the hidden apartment you couldn't get into, but most of all, the dungeon with the restaurant kitchen and the cantina space. The best thing I can think of is to convert that space into a grand dining hall, with a table running the entire length of the room... I liked the (somewhat) modern interior, and was amazed, as you were, by the use of metal in doors (Who makes closet doors out of diamond plate???) A little late to the party on this one, but thanks, Nick!

    A truly amazing property❗
    Perfect property to not say charming, because I'd never use that word to describe this one. If it were charming, however, I'd be wanting to hear the word. 😍
    * The covered walk/entry.
    * They foyer.
    * Those 2 towering pines.
    * Sooo many staircases, although how they got furniture to the upper levels is a mystery.
    * Creative use of space.
    * That tower! Wonderful office.
    * The dumb waiter.
    * The cantina! Would be an amazing wine cellar with tasting/party area. Even already has its own entrance from outside.
    * Professional chef's kitchen. 👌
    * The views.
    * The courtyard, although it needs a good cleanup.
    * The port holes in the doors to the kitchen. Genius & creative!
    I will say that having kept the original doors would have added some warmth to the house and gone a long way to making it more inviting.
    I'd have to make changes to some things. But if I could afford 2.9m, I don't think a little reno would cause me problems. 🤣

    Wow! This has been the best Italian property i have seen so far on your channel! Not a thing about it i would think of changing. Oh, by the way, this is YOUR channel, you should be able to say whatever word you choose to describe what ever you see!! People dont like it, they can go watch another channel. I think it is very british to say "charming" or "fantastic" or even "brilliant"! (I watched a lot of Harry Potter😁😄) Love your channel they way it is, dont change a thing!

    Nick, that was an interesting property. I loved that old basement and wish more of the house had that feel. I am surprised the price is not higher due to its location. Thanks for the tour!

    Great house Nick, but to me, for that type of architecture to work it needs to be pristine, clean and crisp and it wasn’t… definitely in need of some TLC.
