@@ijustwannacommentnotmyreal9814 since I had written that response, I found out it’s a 13 pro!!! I’m not very tech savvy so once I looked yes it’s a 13 pro. The battery is incredible. The phones incredible it’s more than I could ask for.
I’ve had mine for 3 years and I just can’t let it go never had a problem and it still looks like the newer models
I know a few people with xrs and 11s and they still function well so no so question that the 12 pro would still do very well it’s only 3 years old people bash them but they age very well and just work

I am still using my iPhone 12 Pro that I got in the beginning of February, 2020. The battery health is at 86% and I will say that I have charged it whenever I felt like it, used it however I wished, not paying attention at all to what features drain the battery. As soon as eSIM and 5G became available in my country, I enabled them and had been using them for like 2 years now, my 5G mobile data is always on. This phone is a beast and has held up so well that I will only change the battery when it reaches 80% and use it for few more years (with the battery at 86%, I put my phone to charge before I go to bed every night and plug it off in the morning when I wake up for work, the phone easily lasts whole day with my Apple watch connected to it, listening to Spotify via bluetooth earbuds for 2-3 hours every day etc). In terms of durability, I have always used it in either my fav - the Spigen Liquid Air Case or the Apple Silicone case and it has taken a few hard falls - like me throwing the phone away a few meters at someone and ending up on concrete (I was provoked and it was totally their fault lol), the phone literally does not have a scratch on it, except maybe on the charging port, my phone literally looks like I have just taken it out of a box and I can prove that with photos. All in all, if you are considering getting this phone in 2023 I would say go for it! Even if the battery health might be low if you are getting it second hand, you can change it for cheap and not spend thousands on the newest iPhone that is not that better and certainly not worth the price difference.
I agree with what you say, its defect may be the used battery, but with a small expense you get a new battery on a phone that can still give a lot

Im still using my 5 year old iphone X haha. Im thinking of buying a 12 pro because at this point in time all phones are pretty decent. Im a student, so putting down 1.2k for a new phone is a bit too much for me. Phones will be phones and each year there will be new models which causes its value to drop. So my opinion is to buy a refurbished older model for a fraction of the original price.

i have a 12 mini and i wanted to upgrade a bit is 12 pro better or 13 mini though i am not a gamer or care too much about camera performance
I recommend the 13th for updates, not only the camera, but also the processor and battery life. Between mini and or 6.1", it depends on your preference

The battery of my iPhone 12 pro is at 84% and does not have good autonomy. Surely putting a new battery things would change and it would become acceptable.

iPhone 12 Pro battery life is pathetic
DON'T BUY THIS PHONE! It has so many problems. The first of the redesign and so has alot of issues with the quality of the internal components. One drop without a scratch was enough to ruin my battery module plus my camera which literally came out of its socket and dislodge the temperature sensor causing my phone to have a constant message that stops my phone from charging due to the temperature being too high (even though its not). More cons than pros and if you want a pro go for the 13 which was the second iteration of the redesign.

iPhone 13 because it has an updated processor, so the phone has more power and manages autonomy better. Furthermore, the photos are slightly better compared to the 12 pro (but you lose the 2x telephoto lens). Plus you get Apple updates for longer
I don’t agree. iPhone 13 camera is the worst I’ve ever used in an iPhone. Photos are darker. I’m really considering going back to an 11 pro max or 12 pro.
