      Dude I love it. Was worried about my tractor not having enough power but nope. My tractor just keeps going. I have already expanded my driveway, and will be working on expanding my yard. Well worth the money

    I have an x730 that I am getting the same Box Blade for.
    Question, did that blade require the quick hitch for it to work on your machine or did you get it for other attachments. I’m not wanting to get a $450 part if I don’t have to.

    I just purchased 4 acres (about 2.5 acres is actually usable.. the rest is down a large slope with wetlands). We're planning to build a new house and I'm debating on getting the x758 with a loader to do some of the site work myself. For only $1000-2000 more than hiring someone.. I can just buy this tractor and do most of it myself. The land is fairly level.. but bumpy. Would this box blade smooth out the lot and help prep it for new grass?

    Hello Thomas I’m new to your channel. That’s a nice tractor you have. I have a 2008 jd. x728 it has 47 hrs. On it. It was part of my inheritance from my mother’s estate. 54” blade with front scoop. 48” mower deck , I didn’t need the 62” deck that came with it. This tractor is a beast . I hear people say that they would sooner go with a sub compact diesel. Then the 700 series John Deere.but I couldn’t be anymore happier then what I have.

      I have a 2019 x754 with 170hrs+ on it already! Wow you're machine has low hours!
      Anyway, I think the x700 series makes a lot more sense for people with with modest diy aspirations and 5-10 acres max. It was 10K less than the subcompact tractors when I was looking. I think the x700 series makes a lot of sense!

    Is in preparation for lawn seeding? I have the same tractor (X758) and a lot that was partially prepared by the home builder. I cut down all the trees remains and removed the stumps. Now I'm trying to figure out if I should box blade the soil or till it.

    • @tommyazar
      @tommyazar  Před 4 lety

      Raynell Holmes you should till the soil I just was using what I had on hand.

    What was the purpose for removing the top soil?

    I've been researching this tractor and attachments. Does it come with the rear PTO connection?
    Give the cameraman a raise 👍👍

    Nice video. Looks like the box blade worked well. Was it a purchase or a rental?

    Do you have a tiller? I have a x739 and I'm still researching what tiller would best fit the tractor.

    • @tommyazar
      @tommyazar  Před 5 lety

      John Mitchell I do not have a tiller. Figured that would be for a garden that I do not have.

      Thanks for replying, I've been reading about cat 1 and cat 0 limited, some people say the attachment points are different widths an the pins are different sizes, thanks.
