Yeah, his shot selection is that of an amateur and he takes forever to take a shot having to tripple check way to many shots. He doesn't have much of a shot selection in his pouch either but he is very young.
There's plenty of youngsters who can pot balls but if you don't have the wisdom your not going to get far.
He's a very difficult watch for me and he needs to sack his coach and find a new one.

Kid probably has talent , I don’t like his demeanour around the table , he is far too busy , rushing about and when his on the shot can’t make up his mind and checks everything 5 times , needs to get out of that habit before too late ( fans only accept kids for so long ) plus he plays the wrong shot far too often .

100% agreed he does seem to have to tripple check way to many shots and I'd find him very annoying if I was playing him. I'd even complain to the ref because it seems like he's being deliberate to me. He's shot selection is that of an amateur and it's clear he fears some shots causing him to opt for something else.
He is young but he's clearly not being coached properly. There are so many kids that can pot balls but if you don't have the knowhow to get around the table your not going to go to far. Personally, I think he's putting a lot of the off with the way he plays and there's more pressure on the older players to beat him than there is on him to beat his opposition. Let's see what he's like in a couple of years but he this evidence, he's far from a natural to me.

He also avoids hard shots meaning he's level is low along with his IQ to get round the table. He's far from a natural to me but he is young but has a good few bad habbits.
He’s absolutely terrible, slow and boring with poor positioning. Also, he must spend a fortune on chalk as he must go through one per frame.

Just beat a player who is ranked 20. Give the young man some time Iam sure he will develop , yes he taking his time , but that will come with experience.
If he don't get his bad habbits corrected, it won't serve him well in the future. He's putting a lot of players off with his habbits around the table, It's very difficult to watch, he's very amateurish for me and needs to get a new coach. Very poor shot selection for many of the shots and gets caught in two minds a lot making simple shots look hard. He also avoids difficult shots too which is very telling. The standard of snooker is low at the moment, Ronnie is right in my opinion.

What happens when you take a little natural talent at a young age...then throw every coach and trainer at it. Lad can play, but he's stiff as a board looks like a robot. Yousee himself setting up his body to approach the table shot, and you can see the evident 'coaching' in his head right there.
Never smiles and beats himself up on bad shots. Just enjoy the game lad, open up, let your cue do the talking and enjoy it. Seen a lot of this lad, it's more about being groomed for the sport rather than enjoying it. Too much pressure around him and on his shoulders.
His constant resetting is painful to watch, could develop tthe yips later if he's not careful.
Nothing wrong with good approach to shots, keeps himself right and dosent allow himself to move around of shots or lift up like alpt of players starting out, look at mark Selby and kyren Wilson u see them set themselves up and they are 2 very very top impressive players

The standard is higher than ever. Higgins not won a tournament for years and Ronnie hasn't won a major or ranking title for 18 months 🏆
Look at the lack of audience, look at the lack of sponsorship; the talent is going elsewhere. Snooker is more entertainment than sport and the crowds are no longer entertained.

The lad is so raw, it looks like he's not being coached at all and for me I blame the higher ups for allowing him on TV. I think his game is embarrassing to be honest.
He's putting players off and the audience with his constant buzzing round the table like a mental patient as he wears his chalk out for the 100th time in just one frame alone. Just because he has a baby face doesn't mean I have to like the way he plays. Just because he's young doesn't mean that I should have to take pity on him for his amateurish ways. I agree he has the potential to be a good player but he’s trying to be a Shaun Murphy type of player. Speed up his shots and sound I’ll watch but sometimes he’s walking around the table looking at other shots when there’s an obvious shot on
Yes, and that means he's not confident at taking on difficult shots as for me his shot selection is amateurish. He's clearly putting off opposing players with his bad habbits around the table. He's having to tripple check shots and it's very difficult to watch. He's not a natural for me and nowhere near as good as Sean Murphy when Sean was 17 he was brilliant around the table having a very flowing game. This kid has no flow to his game and that's due to having a limited shot selection in his pouch.
