As far as I am aware. No, they can not view your personal desktop. Under general circumstances like working from the Citrix Director (The thing your IT team uses to manage Citrix sessions, servers and offer remote support.) It is not possible for your Citrix administrators to view your personal desktop. I stop myself short of saying that there is a zero percent chance of there being some exploit or unknown to me feature that would allow for this but I have never heard of this. beyond that, It would be unethical if not illegal (depending on your local laws [also I am not a lawyer]) of your company to view your personal desktop without your consent.

You got it. I am sure that Citrix probably provides some telemetry back to Citrix. But it is not actively spying on you for your employer . At least not out of the box.

Try resetting your firewall if you have one. Some (most) firewall programs have different profiles for different network connections. Hopefully that helps. You may also want to reboot your modem / router.

VPN) there is layer 3 separation. They would not be able to do it out of the box and it would be super unethical and not to mention illegal in most jurisdictions. (I would think but I am not a lawyer) They will be able to see anything that you do in a web browser or other application that you are accessing via Citrix remember all that stuff is running on a computer that your company is operating. They would in theory be able to see some information about shared devices like if you were able to print from Citrix apps to your local printer.

Sounds like maybe you are on a device managed by your company maybe? You likely need to contact your IT support team to get Citrix work spaces re/installed. However If you are on a company owned computer you may want to ask them if VPN access is available to you.
Hello, I am getting an error that Citrix Workspace Update Service failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start your system. How would i resolve this.
If this is a computer that was provided by your workplace you may need to contact them to update your receiver. Or if it is a personal PC make sure that the account you are logged in as is a local administrator.

You might not be able to. If you have an old PC or an Internet connection with high packet loss it might be as good as it is going to get. However you might need moved to a new server. Call your Service Desk.

As far as I am aware Director doesn't support SSO but I am not the person to ask about that.

The short answer is yes. For the most part all the medium to heavy lifting is done on the server.

this was a known bug in a couple of versions. Update your Citrix Workspaces / Receiver. receiver.citrix.com

Try looking in the Microsoft store there is another version specific to the store.

I'm getting an SSL Error 4 message, I can use the light web version but not the workspace version.
Check with your IT Team your Citrix Gateway may require an older version of workspaces or receiver.

I do not think that the windows 7 client has been supported for a long time. Normally I would say to update the client but I don't think that you can.

Try to run a citric cleanup utility first and then install the citrix receiver and check if that works
