That was his "jazz-electronic" phase. You should/could really listen to "Secret Friend" (10 minutes). Such an amazing song from the album and I think no one ever reacted to it. "Waterfalls" is famous too or "Temporary Secretary"! 👏🏾
This is from early '79. Disco was peaking. It was so huge even many pop and rock singers were doing disco flavored songs. I enjoyed them all including this one.
