WHAT Did 14 Geniuses Create?!

- Today's puzzle is a very special one - it's been created by no less than 14 of the world's great setters! All is explained in the video but this is a sudoku you won't want to miss. You can play it here:

Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply. The grey circle is odd and the grey square is even. Digits along the blue line must be between the values at each end of that line. Digits along an arrow sum to the value in the associated circle. (The two-digit pill should be read as a two-digit number from left to right for these purposes.) Digits in a cage do not repeat; if a value is given for the cage, the digits sum to that value. Digits along a thermometer must increase from the bulb end. The orange cell is greater than the four digits orthogonally adjacent to it. Two cells separated by a black dot must have a 1:2 ratio. Digits along the marked brown diagonal may not repeat.

One of these days, we're just going to get a puzzle where every cell has a different rule.
Me after watching the video for 35+ minutes being dumbfounded for most of it: “well that’s a 7”
It's astonishing that such a large group of setters can come up with a puzzle with such coherence and linear feel to the solve.
Have you considered creating a second channel called "Crypting the Cracked" where you discuss with the setters how they came to place the elements in the puzzle they set?

You can deduce the “pill” can’t begin with a 1 right at the start! If it’s a 1, the minimum to make the 5 squares on the red arrow is already 20 (2,3,4,5,6).
Im really proud that before starting watching cracking the cryptic i only knew how to solve regular sudokus and now when i see these types of sudokus i think: “well that looks fun to solve”
The fact that the Thermometer has a grey circle, made me put an odd number into it and the puzzle broke =_=
Imagine 14 geniuses recording ten minutes each while adding one rule to create an extraordinary puzzle. Now, that is a movie I would like to see.
I think Simon needs a little clippy pop up that occasionally says "you seem to be stuck, have you scanned the bottom row?" 😂

I love that you don't assume people know everything! It makes a newbie like me enjoy your videos so much and I'm learning on the way. So many people can make you feel stupid and/or unknowing and I am so glad that's not the case here :) really enjoying your videos!
My first ever sudoku with "more rules"
This is the first time I've actually understood the explanation of the Phistomefel ring...
I feel like you can sense the multiple authors on this one, which is really nice - there's multiple things going on at times and it feels like you're attacking it from all sides. I know from the comments people are saying the Phistomefel ring isn't necessary to solve it, but I loved some of the ways that it came into play, it felt really elegant and unlike any previous Phistomefel ring solves I've seen. I can't help but feel like it was intended - maybe the 'OG' in the title is a hint at the interplay between the O of the ring and the G clue??

Brilliant puzzle! Loved figuring out all the implications of the clues, though having so many meant that sometimes I forgot about some of them.
