  • I recently found a cool new feature on zbrush, the morphtarget guides, so I spend a while playing with it. It works for anything but I need to try creating full hair and beard

    Yeah! Finally a use for morph targets that I can get behind. Seriously dude, Thank you this works beautifully. I love the amount of control it gives me to wrangle those little fiber meshes without having to touch a groom-brush. If eyes are the windows to the soul, you just taught me how to make some amazing curtains. No more stylized "Fortnite" eyebrows for my sculpts. I'mma subscribe.

    I don't understand why you sculpted and pinched the brow bridge in the beginning. It's was removed before you added the fibermesh wasn't it?

    • @artofanselmo6843
      @artofanselmo6843  Před 5 lety +8

      No, was not. This process use morph target. so in order to shape and have the fibers follow a direction and a length you need to sculpt it first, then click on morphtarget to "reset" to original form but with the sulpt memorized and the morphtarget guides will do the work. Without that part you will have uniform length and direction on the fibers

    Nice result you get here, but this tutorial could use more explanation. Followed it but ended up not working so might have missed something that seemed obvious to you but isn't clear in your steps. Thanks anyway.

      @@peacewalkerii4456 The sculpt is to create the shape for the morph target, that will decide how long are the fibers and the inicial direction of the fibers

    Bem legal so acho que para os fios nao terem o mesmo tamanho teria que dividir a mascara exemplo: primeiro os fios mais internos que sao maiores e depois os externos que vao diminuindo o tamanho. Claro e so uma dica. Que eu faria ou farei usando esse metodo que e bem top.

      @artofanselmo6843  Před 6 lety +1

      Sim. tem razão eu nao quis ir a um nivel muito realista porque ia mostrar os mesmos passos várias vezes, o resto cabe a cada um usar os seus métodos e aperfeiçoar o que mostrei :)
