It is a spike, but it’s also a meteor, and it’s also a normal attacking move; it’s the only move in the game with all 3 types of hitboxes

Jump and up-b can both meteor cancel. It's about timing but I don't know the exact frame data

You can meteor cancel 8 frames after hitlag ends by doing either a dj or upB, provided you didn't enter meteor cancel lockout by attempting to do so too early. Additionally, dj and upB are locked out separately, so you can try to dj and upB in sequence to give yourself two chances
