    Thank u for this video. The smart cruise control is aggravating to me. It slows down way to fast and when it accelerates it speeds up so quick it’s not safe.

    Smart cruise control also improves your auto insurance merit score because the car runs always in safe speed and drives smoothly - for those using merit programs. This was perfect for a long highway cruising to minimal traffic interruption.

      The minimum speed is defaulted to 20mph. That is the lowest the setting will go. If you remove your foot from the brake pedal and press the cruise control button it will default to 20 mph.

      @@hyundai Well i'm Just disappointed about that , that the Kona N comes with adapitve Cruise Controll ( SCC ) and LKA / LFA but comes with a stripped down version of that , like a very first Version of ACC without Stop to Zero ( Not Stop & Go thats includes HDA ) and that in the year 2021/2022 very sad . Hyundai 's old Version of Tucson , the new regular I20 , Bayon , i30 , regular Kona in Prime Version or N Line do have a optipnal priced ASCC when comes with DTC , but Kona N comes with the DTC straight the way and its just a stripped down Version of SCC / ACC NO Hyundai's ASCC ( with Stop Feature to Zero ) like a 10 Years old Car where discovered the very first Version of ACC . I think it would be a simply Step of Programming or Coding Software thing , cause the Kona N already have the Camera and the front Radar for that , hope Hyundai still added this Feature in a Software Update some Day

    I can see this system causing lots of accidents for example what if you think you had smart cruise control on and you didn't and your car goes to smash into another car in front of you. Also I don't see many seniors being able to use this as the technology is probably too complicated for them

    • @MrScart35
      @MrScart35 Před 2 lety +4

      Driver is stil responsible for driving the car, it’s called assistant not autonomous driving. There is also another assistant that will warn you by sound if you are on collision course to car in front of you and then brake automatically if you don’t brake.

      You still need to put your hands on the steering and make sure you are alert - the car alerts you and reminds you to put your hands on the steering wheel. Yes, the feature may be complicated for seniors. I tried this today and loved the smart cruise control.
