- The plaintiff was in a polyamorous relationship with the defendant’s husband. She got pregnant with the defendant’s husband’s child. She moved in with the defendant, but then had to move out quickly. She’s suing for unreturned property. The defendant is countersuing for rent, damaged property, and unreturned property.

I can’t help but think that the defendant wanted a baby and allowed her husband to make one with another woman, with the plan being to gradually remove the other woman from family. The husband was taking too long to remove the plaintiff, which caused the defendant to become irritated, so the defendant made the living arrangement as uncomfortable as possible to drive the plaintiff away.
They would have had better luck with a surrogate from Craigslist.

The difference between polygamy and polyamory is polygamy is one (male) partner has a relationship in which they seek out others. Polyandry is a woman looking for multiple husbands/male partners. Another botched judgment by JM. In any other case, he says a person must be allowed a reasonable time to gather belongings. JM typically calls that time frame 1 month. Defendant threw her things away in < 1mos. Plantiff proved her case thoroughly for her property.
