In late Dec 2017, a young woman was found murdered by her ‘boyfriend’ in a backroom kitchen of one of these fast food stalls .. he has since be found and charged. Her body was there two weeks before they found her. Production for the set began several months later. Not sure which stall it was.. but I kno it was an old abandoned Subway stall.. it’s possibly the one marked here as the Taco Bell, that’s my theory. ... talk about Stranger Things..!
I honestly think Gwinnett Place would do good to tear down half the mall (by the old food court), and leave the other half (from Mega Mart to Macy's) up. 1) You can't walk from Beauty Master to the rest of the mall; 2) they could move Beauty Master into the old Sear's (or in that general area); 3) it has an occupancy of 40%, cutting the Mall in half would at LEAST double that; 4) the rent would go down due to cheaper maintenance/ HVAC; 5) Gwinnett County needs the tax revenue.
The mall closed because it suffered some incidents homelessness,prostitution,gangsters and they found the body of a 19 year old woman and another was arrested for prostitution if all of that didn't happen then the mall would still be open but look on the bright side there has been a news report that developers are more likely to bring back starcourt mall

Well it is still open but a few stores are still open so it will close in 2020 and will be likely come back as far as no incidents happen

Zσρɾυ it’s actually a mall near my house that is a ghost town. So they took the food court and turned it into the mall from ST.
joel wikle this mall is right next to my house but when I stopped by the hallway on where they film had walls and guards looking over.
