    ===
    01:59 Why will the Model 2 have a minimalist size?
    03:43 Why would Tesla choose a $1000 motor for Model 2?
    05:02 How will the Model 2 achieve low prices with cheaper battery packs?
    06:52 Why does Model 2 definitely use 48V low voltage architecture?
    09:49 What's happened with Tesla Gigacasting?
    ===
    It Happened! Elon Musk LEAKED The Way Tesla Produce Model 2! INSANE Design, Motor & Super Battery. A lot has been written about Tesla's next-generation compact car, widely known as the Model 2. It still exists despite rumors of cancellation, but the way it was built is different from what the manufacturer originally intended, now we can call it "Tiny Model 3" or "Tiny Model Y".
    It Happened! Elon Musk LEAKED The Way Tesla Produce Model 2! INSANE Design, Motor & Super Battery. During this period, Tesla is looking for every way to achieve the $25,000 price point for the Model 2 because the manufacturer needs to launch a low-cost electric car as soon as possible to keep customers and investors satisfied, it should be at least $10,000 cheaper than the Model Y and 3.
    It Happened! Elon Musk LEAKED The Way Tesla Produce Model 2! INSANE Design, Motor & Super Battery. So what is Tesla doing with low-cost electric cars?

    I’d use cheap as heck body panels, easy and cheap to replace, with a stinger frame. This makes it safer and not totaled when renting a fender. Saves materials, saves much by making it lighter.

    I'm part of a Gen 4 Prius Prime family and like many former and current Prime owners (many that now own a tesla or two ) I've had my ups and downs regarding tesla growth, goals as well as general public and special interest groups arguments about nearly every aspect of EV growth.
    I've long awaited the baby of the tesla family. I understand some of the economics involved. I don't have a clue how the model two release might effect global economies or an eco transition, if there is even such an animal. I do understand that as an automobile driver that a new lower cost model tesla would be a very attractive option for me in my transition from a more classical automotive ownership scenario to a more modern less intimidating ownership scenario (again, if one actually develops in our current economics -$+ focused future) and all that brings to the table.

    I the cyber-esk design language ported over to an actual car. It reminds me of a lambo. For the Robotaxi it will make sense to make it from Tesla's cold rolled stainless steel alloy, to ensure that it will bedurable and low maintenance but for private owners it can be made from thin skined steel like any other car.

    Robo Taxi is a total game changer. When you can call a robotaxi on your phone , it arrives and transports you autonomously to wherever you want to go, drops you off and heads for another customer. It will be way easier, for most person,s to whistle for a car, when they need one, than to shoulder the effort and expense of purchasing and maintaining a personally owned one. Cars are parked ninety percent of the time, therefore 90% percent of current traffic can be eliminated. commuting by robo van will become standard.

  • @daveamies5031
    @daveamies5031 Před 12 dny

    The reason American land yachts don't sell that well in other countries is more than cost, it's also size, the Model 3 is Tesla's smallest car but it's still larger than many people movers. Tesla could take the Model 3 and remove the "overhangs", i.e. smaller frunk (or get rid of it) and make the back into a hatch, no more than 2 cm in front of the front wheels and no more than 2 cm behind the rear wheels and you'd have a perfectly reasonable model 2, 90% of the parts could be the same as the model 3 to give cost savings and make a car that's more suitable for city driving. Thing is they could have done this years ago if they wanted to.

They are just producing a car they can get to the market more quickly using their current lines of production. They are NOT giving up on the $25k unboxed car and still plan on releasing them in 2026. I keep harping and urging Tesla to make that A pillar more vertical, make the roof taller, and thus make their cars easier for taller people to get in and out of. See a photo of a 1978 Chevrolet Caprice Classic 4 door. I have one. High roof, plus the car is tall, and I can easily enter and exit. Note the A pillar goes up fairly vertical, has a big bend at the top, and supports a roof that goes back nice and tall. This absolute fetish that the auto industry now has about making the A pillar (that's the one by the windshield) severely sloping and the roof low, is just crazy!!!! 20% of the (tallish) public will not hand over good money to own such a thing. See a Mercedes sedan from the 70s and then see a current one. Just insane. The auto cos are all losing revenue because of this. Riding with my mechanic's shuttle one time, there was a 70s Mercedes sitting at a side street. I said to the driver "Look how they made them, easy to enter and exit" Then we pulled up next to a current Mercedes at a light and it looked very hard to enter and exit with its severely sloping A pillar. I am a TSLA stockholder and only wish Tesla well. Want to see a great robotaxi? See Zoox on You tube. Miles of vid there about Zosk. Spelling? It is a driverless robotaxi. They drive around a city constantly in heavily instrumented Toyotas and map. Map every intersection, construction zone, etc. then they feed that data into the Zoosk robotaxis. It works great. The city is cyber-bounded, or something. The car does not leave the (mapped) city. I tell Tesla to make their robo taxi like that instead of a little hard to enter and exit car. See in the vids how people enter and exit a Zoox robotaxi. It's not a car, it's a robotaxi. San Francisco and Las Vegas testing now with Zoox.
    I sure hope that advanced Sodium battery they show in this vid can be put in Tesla's sold today, when they are available.
