All the hate comments don't even come close to this man's passion and dedication. Keep doing what you're doing Larry!
Awesome video! I work in the collision repair industry, and have great respect for shops like these. Your car is in good hands, nothing but the best procedures being used here. Cheers! And enjoy the long expensive journey that is automotive restoration.
Watching the skill of Lewis hand fabricating the body parts is unbelievable
Extensive surgery is an understatement here! Wow, I remember having some simple fender work done on a car a few years ago and it wasn't until they opened it up to reveal a much larger mess. So heart braking! I'm thoroughly impressed by their work here. Seems like you guys are two peas from the same pod. Attention to detail and skill here is unbelievable!
I loved seeing the guy, so concentrated in what he was doing. Its really good see people doing a good job, dedicated in what they do, see that there are good ones out there. Here on Philadelphia find someone good to repair your car is mission impossible.
Thanks for sharing this story, Larry. These men sure know what they're doing and i can totally appreciate their craftsmanship. Incredible to watch.
You can just see the money disappear. Totally worth it though. Saving it from it's rusty demise.
argonian bilbo although I feel like it would have been better to pay more originally for a rust free car
RC Grid It's nice to know exactly what's under the surface when a car is this old, plus this way you can check the repair yourself and build it exactly as you want.
hes making ad revenue though so its basically an investment for the car which generates the content and is an investment itself
Yves Saint Laurent much truth in that
You dont really think the YT-Videos are gonna pay enough for this rust repair ... you sure ?
Watching Lewis shape and weld the new frame piece in was amazing. Respect to these guys!
Thank you for sharing this. People just don't understand the level of work and time that truly goes into a restoration.
Love watching artist at work.
I am right there with you. Watching a true craftsman do his job. They make it look easy but yet leave us in awe at the level of difficulty that is actually there.
It is so pleasant to see this kind of craftmanship. An it ALWAYS happens Larry that you see a tiny spot outside but when you work your way into more intrincate places... it´s all rusted past the point of salvation. Keep improving that 964, it is worth it.
Love this video! I really need to dig into my E30 chassis just to be sure. Thanks for fantastic content Larry, we want MOAR!!!
Thanks Larry for being the great man you are. You inspire me alot.
Not only with your proffessional detailing, but your personality and attitude. The way you lift up people and the way you try to understand things, routines and systems is amazing and reminds me of being humble and excited about learning. Thanks beyond words //From sweden
Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching and supporting!
Thanks for showing the details of your car rebuild! Keep educating us! So glad you could preserve the 964! Congratulations!
thanks. glad you enjoyed it!
what a group of talented people..wow! thanks for sharing. take care.
Love the fact you have a 964 and willing to go this far with it. We have 2 930s we had to do the exact thing with. One of them not so bad, cut out rusted and rotted part and made our own patches to replace it. The other one we had to replace the roof because some put one in from a 993 and cracked the glass and rebuild the front end due to a crash. Replacing the roof is terrifying. It worked though and it is much more rigid. Glad you went this far for such a beautiful car.
You did the repair the right way. Too many people take short cuts and although the finished product might look great it won't last and is a potential problem for the next owner. Good job.
That fabrication is marvelous. This is a good life. Bravo.
Larry you're the best mate. Your content is truly king. So a deep thanks.
This is awesome. Thanks for sharing. I love this kind of work.
This is amazing. Once again i lean something interesting here on AMMO NYC :D
Thank you Larry.
Removing the sunroof is such a great choice.
Really satisfying to watch this Porsche being saved, those guys do a great job.
insane amount of work those guys do everyday, all sort of body work is art if you ask me.
Simply put, that was just amazing! Those are talented individuals!!
This literally just goes to show that any car can be brought back to life. Awesome video Larry!
thanks
Very interesting video. Can't wait for the rest of this series.
Very happy people are fixing old cars properly it’s always sad to see old cars rot and it’s nice that this ones getting fixed properly before getting any worse
Beautiful car, nice to see it being well cared for. Looking forward to the next video.
so awesome thank you for sharing, I can't wait to see the roof removal
This is amazing
Omg yes the video ive been waiting for !!!! :DDDDDD
Good stuff and info! Props for having a roll cage, imperfections and all I love your car
Beautiful, amazing job!! Looking forward for next videos Larry!! Congrats!! =D
Kudos! This is the best restoration video/series i've ever seen. I get excited watching it and the commentary is 👍🏾
I guess you have never heard of Project Binky 😇
damn you're going balls deep with this thing and I didn't even know you had rust issues to begin with
Another top video Larry. Regards from Australia 🇦🇺
this is carporn !! thanks for letting us watch, cant wait for the next video !
I went through all of this with my awd talon.... its amazing how much rust there is on the inside of the panel compared to what you usually see on the outside. I had to fab up whole rocker panel assemblies and door sills to correct it all.
I have a 1984 Toyota Celica with rust issues and seeing this is both exciting and a shock, since it's cool to see the rust being taking care of and shocking because of how much work goes in to this.
fascinating and just the info I need as plan to address bodywork on my 964 in the not too distant future...thanks Larry!
This rust repair level is over the top!
Awesome video, I couldn't even imagine how you were watching all of this happen!!
Love your videos Larry, and these in particular give me a good idea of some additional steps I need to take in my racecar build (2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS Coupe). I am trying to do it all in my home garage, and this has given me some much needed insight into a few things I can do as well! Thanks!
I've waited SO long to see this, and video 1 didn't disappoint :D thank you Larry.
It is amazing to watch real craftsman at work.
Fantastic work documenting this process. I wish my build was done in 6 months. Great stuff.
Thx!
Best detailing channel
Amazing video Larry! I have an old Impreza 98 with the same problem, this video will help me a LOT!
Greetings from Brazil!
This project is amazing,i love all your detailing video`s, but this kind of projects i love the most. and after this is done i hope we see another massive detailing vid on the new parts :)
that is one serious restoration larry i am sure took a lot of money and patience but at the end i guess it was all worth it for the poor ammo 964 :)
oh yeah it is a clean beast now hope you have a lot of fun with it
Fantastic video, thanks!
Extreme high quality work.
Proper bodywork jobs like this one are an absolute art-form
That was amazing to watch.
YES! I've been waiting for this...!
I like watching your car cosmetics videos because its great seeing someone enthusiastic about their profession.
Love watching this kind of stuff 😍
Isn't it just great to see master craftsman at work, thanks for posting!! :)
Oh and the car... Well worth the effort, beautiful and a beast too!
The fabrication was amazing. At least you know it's been done right.
wow...they're magician, awesome work
I do appreciate the video. Very thorough and informative
Larry K the only guy who lives up to the buildups :) awesome vid my friend :D
Thank you!
Fantastic video Larry. I plan on doing a complete repaint on my own car eventually and so your step by step process is especially interesting to me.
insane work by these guys!! and you're dedicated ate beyond belief to that car Larry, many wouldn't put the money into such a hefty restoration.
They are amazing craftsman! I love my 964. thanks for watching
Very fascinating to watch, amazing commentary also.
Brilliant!!! Excellent video.
Fastest and most entertaining 9 minute video on youtube.
Thanks
how much did the whole restauration cost?
Very good, looking forward to the next video.
lol this is exactly how i do it, nice work guys! i mostly use some damaged quarter panels or front fenders that i took of the car in the past to repair some older cars since it saves money for the owner of the car and also by weldig it with copper (if it's not a part of the car thats carrying any weight) it won't start rusting again (also using some tin lead replacer filler.) it's a bit of a tacky job (joke) but the end result is great and you'll be very proud of yourself when it get's out of the paintshop all nice n shiny! ( don't forget to thank the painter if you're not painting it yourself ;D)
You need to upload more man! Love to watch your videos!
awesome video!
Awesome video! Can't wait to see the rest
Amazing. They are Sculpters. Wow. Amazing Talent
Refreshing (literally) to see guys using dust masks while metalworking.
Love the series Larry.
Wish the 964 wasn't rotted out but she's perfect now.
this is so cool. thanks for sharing Larry!
its totally worth it"
Great vid Larry
Awesome to see that you care about your car this much...........it had to be super expensive. .......I don't own a Porsche but I definitely would like to
The 964 better be sponsored or at least Larry's dream car...cause holy shit-
This project is gunna cost both testicles and barely used anus.
These products are so expensive, but I highly recommend them, they work miracles
This is so satisfying.
Glad u got it Done, What a Team💪👍✌😁
this is so cool I love this stuff!!!!
Watching this series for the fourth time!
Been waiting for this yeowww! Bring on the next ones 🤙
Very interesting process. Thanks.

Excellent techniques
this looks expensive
Seeing the preview video, I think the entire process is 100k+ if there isn't any sponsoring.
WHAT? No, no it is not. more in the ballpark of 5 to 10k.
Pedro Teixeira lmao no
Nah. Probably around $50k...
Tehgziz Lauw a Porsche replacement roof is probably a fortune by itself. Porsche parts are not cheap. And most places charge 100 an hour now in labor. Which backed in this location and the high money cars there I bet it's about that much. He said he had well over 750 man hours in this car so what's that add up to in labor by itself excluding parts and materials used? 75,000 ish
I love it Larry!
A work of art.
Great job and tools! got to have those tools.
Amazing video as always, keep your rubber on the road
Sorry to see this bro, I know how did you feel ... Only luck you had is that you fix it before it would be too late. I just bought my "new" car I wanted for years (Alfa Romeo 156 2.5 24v V6, 190 HP), I knew there was rust, but when I dig a bit further... wow man, I cried if you believe me... What , what a shock or I don't know how to describe that feeling it was. Anyway, I wanted to drop whole project but I just cant, so I get my self together and plan is made, this will not be fast but it will be done in a proper way and for many more kilometer's in future . I wish you Good luck with project and everything come out right. Cheers, Uroš from Slovenia ! (little country in the middle of Italy and Austria)
Love your videos man, more please!! :D
Wow! Thanks for sharing
Great Video, please more on that!
Fastest 9:41 minutes of my life !!!
Lazy Owly I know right!? When the video ended I couldn't believe 9 minutes passed
Lazy Owly if only the jobs would go by this fast... i recently finished a +400 hour job... only fabricated 6 patches at that
Except the first time you got laid.
Sponsored by "Make it Rain" Productions. What, do you want more rust and corrosion? :)
