he's a solid player people simply equate flashiness to 1v1 skill

@@bailey29 it’s not the flashiness it’s his speed & pace, he definitely plays a lot slower and methodical than most pros so it looks like he has less skill. he only brings out mechanics when he needs to
He is bad in lan and is a demo player so people obv discredit him...but yeah im one of that people, Retals is a little washed and can't clutch.

14:52 even if it was accidental, the reaction time and reflex to dodge backwards in order to save the shot is insane. Love it when these high level players improvise on the spot and turn disadvantageous positions into something useful
I think Retals tried to do this once in a 2s game but failed
I don't mean to be one of those "I'm plat and I do penta flip resets all the time" guys, but I think most champ players have that reaction time as well. I watch a lot of pro plays and high level 1v1, and I have many hours in the game. I know what I can and cannot do, but that doesn't seem too hard. The impressive part would be the pogo recovery, which I could def believe was intentional.

Love fairy but oKhaliD was something special in the RL scene, he dominated for like 3 years at that time he was the best on the game, even nowadays he still considered a top 15 player, there’s no one from his era at this level anymore .. oKhaliD longevity is impressive 🐐
as one who speaking Arabic natively, you are very close on the name pronunciation aspect, if you want to make it perfect shorten the last syllable "sal", it's more like "sl" without the 'e'

No! I used to love Johnny and watched all his content even putting aside his biases, the thing that drove me away, was when he was hosting his worlds 3v3 event in lieu of the olympic event being cancelled, he and his team of mods were forcing people to speak english, and if you didnt you were immediately banned and I called him out on it and one of his mods told me to shut up and dont speak on it but I felt the need to say something because it was not only racist, disrespectful and demeaning but incredibly lazy and poor on his part to host an international event then ban all the fans of the non english speaking teams. He could have easily brought in a few mods to cover the events to target ban bad things but there is a filtering system on Twitch that will not allow you to even post a comment that contains a single banned word, so they could have easily put something together in the months leading up to it, instead of just perma banning hundreds of people. I wont support him or even watch RLCS broadcasts that he is casting, mostly because I'm petty but also because I think he is a terrible person. Personally when I saw they were getting rid of a bunch of the RLCS talent I was hoping he would be one of them, but he was lucky to keep his job. My issues go deeper than that though, I watched one of the first touch episodes last season, think it was from London and they had Beastmode, Daniel and Comm in a green room with Johnny and some others and they were chatting with Beastmode and the conversation came to how he was enjoying his room and how it had a mini bar in it and he was talking about getting drunk and he was UNDER AGE, at an RLCS sponsored event thrown by the Moist Org, like tf, I drank at 16 but never away from my home and my parents knew and only let me drink with them and was controlled, this was being done by adults, business owners outside of parental guidance and when Johnny heard him talking about it LIVE on stream he interrupted and told him oh you may want to just leave some things to yourself or something similar.

Since then every event could in theory be won by you or anyone if you just sign up and win.

I don’t think anyone is saying he’s the best. Fsol is just an unfamiliar name that’s been taking down a lot of the big names in 1v1. If you’ve been following feer, you would know he loves to promote new/underrated high level 1v1 players making a splash in the scene. It helps with overall growth of the gamemode and rocket league content is kinda stale nowadays. I personally enjoy seeing new players rise up and there is no need to hate on people overhyping them. However, I completely agree that these are just replays and would love to see him in a show-match.
Nass didn't take the win on rw9 bruv, you should do a little bit more research, he played on Johnny's and lost to him.
Did I say Nass won? Certainly was a slip up if so. I have Nass as the king of EU servers currently because Rw9 has been a bit too inactive, even considering Rw9's recent wins against Mawkzy and Nass

Second I was watching your stream when someone popped up in the comments and asked you "who is the best 1v1 player", you replied it's Daniel because he's beaten Nass in a 1v1 showmatch. I didn't quit get your rationalization on that ranking honestly, furthermore I don't think it was Daniel because he wasn't as active and he only played Nass.
Again thank you for your time and I would like to hear your side so that me and many others would benefit from your knowledge.
The Retals game is so cringey, yeah yeah I know its part of the game but cmon man do something other then air dribble cringe almost every goal! These kinda games make 1s look bad imo, like where is the mechs, wheres the mind games, why arent you showing your full arsenal of skills? Might just be me but I find it incredibly boring and super unentertaining.
