Good. The horror is entirely in the viewers head as it should be. The music/sound is perfect. The 2001-connection is strong. Only negative: the protagonist seems too calm. Overall much better than expected and definitely much better than most cosmic horror shorts I watched on YT

I liked it...2001 is my favorite movie of all time and I always found the monolith a bit creepy...something that is unknowable and beyond human comprehension...

The whole point of cosmic horror is inexplicability, a force/monster so foreign and alien that it defies definition and is beyond human comprehension. It forces those who witness it to realise their smallness, how the world out there is so full of things dangerous and unwelcoming, and should we step outside our small little safe zone on earth we will be lost and afraid in an uncaring void.
